  3. I'll be coming along, probably with Katie, stick us down mate
  4. Drill a hole for it go through the chassis leg.
  5. If thats what it says to do, then yes.
  6. Boost controller goes between wastegate and its feed (inlet manifold). Which type of boost controller do you have?
  7. If your turbo has a take off use that, if not tap into the inlet manifold for the wastegate. Fpr should have a feed from the inlet manifold too.

  9. Much easier to navigate now, half as may clicks to get to new posts.
  10. A 25ft roll should be enough, would be wise to get new fittings too. You can buy the bias valves off eBay.
  11. That's a smart looking golf mate, very tidy. The 'early' look plus your wheels really make it stand out! Nice work
  12. Yes it's all fairly easy, alot easier with no interior! As long as you remove the abs warnin light, along with everything abs related, then there's no reason to fail an mot. And yes, you'll probably need to use a bias valve for the rear brakes. Oh, and you'll need rear wheel bearings too as they are pressed into the rear discs.
  13. I thought all 12v vr's had 7 ribs, and 24v had 6?
  14. That's pretty cool! But I strongly doubt they will tunnel to America, watched a program about a train tunnel design between England and America, and the conclusion was its too risky. Something about anchoring it and submarines hitting it!
  15. It could be a number of issues, top mounts, track rod or ends, bottom ball joints, wheels bearings. It might be 1 of the above, or a combination of several, but i'd but my money on track rods/ball joints!
  16. Sounds like it might be coolant temperature sensor related fault. But it would benefit from a scan to see if it throws any codes up.
  17. Yes a faulty temp sensor would throw alot o things out, and make it run oddly.

  20. That's fair enough about the solid mount, but yous looks like it will do the trick! Are you going to be running n/a or charged?
