  2. There is a snap ring holding the c.v. onto the driveshaft.

  6. So it's turbo seals then? Are you replacing the seals or the whole turbo? Any plans for your engine seeing as though it not at fault?
  7. You might be able to use the gti shafts, as there pretty much the same boxes, just 1 is for a 4 pot, the other for the vr.
  8. Somewhere around £20/£25 each i'd say mate.
  9. They should fit fine, as they were off of a mk3, so the width of the tyre and offset of the rim should be the correct fitment. I ran 17 rims, 195 tyres, et35 offset, and lowered 40mm and it was fine, maybe slight rubbing on the rear if cornering hard!

  14. Yep, pay attention Bungy! But im undecided whether to fab or buy fibreglass arches... depends whether i buy fibreglass wings or not i suppose. What does everyone think? Metal / Fibreglass ?
  15. Have you removed the turbo? Then you could see if it's out of the engine or not?

  17. Yeah difinately change the standard pump for an uprated jobbie.
  18. Low comp pistons ftw, should handle the power you are aiming for then. Not too sure on bb turbos, but take the comp and turbine housings off and see what's in there, check for lots of oil on the comp side and wet black charcoal on the exhaust side.
