  6. We had a brilliant evening, thank you to everyone for making it so fun! It was great to catch up and meet some new faces. :)
  7. You might as well replace the lot if your in there replacing the guides/tensioners. If they are worn, then chances are your chains are too, even if they're not noisey.
  8. I've made my mind up, i'm going to run the standard inlet, obd2 throttle body, and make an exhaust manifold to under-sling the turbo (a sort of spa copy). Also, using stock internals and a UM spacer plate, run at 1 bar of boost to try and achieve 400bhp. Another thing, does anyone know how the flap in the inlet is controlled? When its supposed to 'open'? Can it be diy controlled?

    Gary Speed

I remember watching Leeds play a couple of times when i was alot younger, when Gary played for them. Top bloke, a great shame he took his own life, for reasons i haven't heard yet.
  10. Interesting.... makes sense though.
  11. That looks like a slightly different maniflod in that vid? Or is that my eyes? I'm almost tempted to try a standard manifold, at a bar of boost, to see how reliable it is.. maybe conduct an experiment?
  12. I've read and heard that the later 24v plastic inlets can cope with up to 1 bar of boost pressure, so how come this fella is boosting at 25psi, and has got over 500whp, running a standard inlet?? http://www.gulfcoasteuros.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=41098 Is this doggy do do that needs to be ignored, or is the boost limit on standard manifolds too low?? Please help!
  13. Yes, I am certified up to coding standards of welding, we have all carried out various site safety courses and have cscs cards. We are based in Petersfield, and regularly travel out of Hampshire to various sites. Site welding and fabrication is not a problem.
  14. I your not getting a spark or of your fuel pump doesn't prime then I'd say there's something wrong with the crank sensor/crank sensor loom.
  15. I work for a company called Fairfield Engineering Ltd. We are plant, agricultural and civil engineers. As a company we can service, maintain, and repair machinery, and carry out any fabrication needed. Also, any 1 off's or small batches of fabricated metal work can be made at our workshop, including beams needed for buildings, hard facing, any sort of welding really! 01730 827188
