  1. Too much wire speed, try with less mate
  2. Nice one. I know what you mean by 'in a hurry' jobs!
  3. Lol! Depends how eagle eyed your local rozzers are mate! I'll look for that fan mod tomorrow fella.
  4. What's your plans for your gearbox mount then fella? And what's the cylindrical silver thing for?!
  5. Very luck with that crash! Sometimes, I believe in fate, and on that odd day a seatbelt isn't worn and a crash happens, you servive because of it. Seatbelts save lives. fate saved my life once not wearing one.
  6. Oil does seem a bit thin for a 12v, can't remember putting fully synthetic oil in my 12v.
  7. Have you got the specific codes?
  8. The lambda sensor hasn't fallen out has it?
  9. It could be the thermostat housing, itself or it could be a seal around the sensors that fit in it. If you remove the yellow plug and bridge 2 opposing terminals, the fans should kick in. The leak could also be the seal between the stat housing and head.
  10. I think you might have to, can you post a picture?
  11. I can have a look tomorrow if you want?
  12. You'll probably have to buy a new damper, unless you've got the kit to refill them with oil or gas.
  13. It's definatly a mulberry highline.
  14. Sorry to hear about your day mate, didn't realsie all that crap had happened too! P.s watched the clip, very funny!
  15. I haven't got a t/b to hand but it's around the by the throttle body. You might have to remove the rear engine cover to see/adjust the screw.
  16. There is an adjustment screw on the throttle body, adjust that screw when warm to get the correct idle. It may idle higher when cold, but what vr doesn't?
  17. I've got a spare, working replacement for you. Auxiliary coolant run on pump £15 posted.
  18. Seems a come hose to fail. I'll have a look in my vr parts collection an get back to you before the post office shuts!
  19. Injector size depends on your final power output.
  20. Both really, but more so turbo. If you run a large enough exhaust housing on a turbo then you'll boost later in the rev range, almost eliminating the sudden mid rev range 'kick' you'd get with a small housing, so more like a supercharger.
  21. They should all be the same bearing, throughout the mk3 range, on the front.
