  1. Done well, looks really good, shame i'm not in the market for a storm atm. :-(
  2. Depending on whether you have a/c or not, you might have 2 or 3 sensors, blue, yellow, the brown is for a/c i think
  3. Yeah i was starting to ponder about your um, how can i put it, um, leisurely driving style!! :-)
  4. Makes the mk3 look a bit jap? Or is that just me?
  5. You'll get that sort of 'feel' once its been mapped. A good tuner can almost eleminate lag, so will feel progressive.
  6. Could be a crack in your block, or head, but it sounds like too much water for just the gasket to go.
  7. Fractured rib? Ouch! Mind you, you are the smallest out of everyone! :-)
  8. They take less time to warm up. Until the pads are warm they might not work as effectively.
  9. Try the red stuff, if you don't like the feel of them i'm sure there is someone on here that would have them!
  10. It depends on how hard you drive, whether your going to use for track days etc. I run red stuff pads, which take a little bit of warming up, but are great when hot. I think the green stuff are a good all-rounder, and yellow for all out stopping power! http://www.ebcbrakes.com/automotive/index.shtml
  11. Just get the pair top and bottom rubber top mounts for the rear, the rest you can re-use, i.e nuts washers etc.
  12. Lol!^^^^ Nice rides fella, something abit different about the polo that i like, not really seen too many of them.
  13. Hmm, secrets hey? Fair play, keeps everyone on their toes! Looking forward to the result! :-)
  14. Fire an vr's don't go too well together, by experience! Its good to hear it was only a small 1. Did you get burnt much? Thats the real big thing i hate about welding cars, the burns!! Good luck for mot.
  15. Hmm, the dark side. :-) Why would you stray from the dub? Why not get a mk4 git/tdi, use that to drive, the vr to mod an play with a s/c or turbo conversion. You know it makes sense! ;-)
  16. Its probably an updated part number mate, nothing to worry about. The oil will be right for the haldex. If there is any difference then it won't be noticable, and won't break it!! :-)
  17. I would come over mate an lend a hand but i'm so busy atm. I've just got too much on! Sorry.
  18. Nice. Hope you get it all done! Bet your looking forward to some abusive right foot action?? ;-)
  19. Ah, the joys of a vr weekend. Sounds like that'll keep you busy for a while mate!
  20. Should do, says it covers all models, from those years. For the £15 odd its worth every penny i think, not bad at all.
