  1. No mate, i think you've miss understood me! The cold side can be turned seperatly to the center, as can the hot side. Its called 'clocking your turbo'. You can loosen off the bolts around the outside of the ali compressor and rotate it to face it down.
  2. You could face the cold side down, and run your boost pipe under the chassis rail or under the engine.
  3. Picture perfect. Looks llike you've pulled the pic from a magazine.
  4. Looking very clean dan! How do you get the plastic parts that clean, and black?
  5. Should get the nut off anyway. If not, and your junking your old struts, clamp mole grips around the strut to stop it spinning.
  6. Get some1 with an impact gun and a socket to rattle the nut off. Soak it in wd40 or similar first.
  7. The brake reservior feeds the brakes and the clutch master cylinders, so as long as the fluid is only drained jusr passed the clutch m/c feed pipe, you will be fine. (same princible as a vr set up)
  8. My girlfriends vr does this too. I'm going to replace the whole window mechanism with a working 1 out of my car to see if it makes a difference. I think a small plastic stop (that supports the bottom of the glass), thats on 1 on the sliders , that stops the slider 'twisting' as it goes up is missing, but mine has it, so i'm hoping thats the issue.
  9. Shouldn't have to bleed the brakes if your just doing your clutch m/c mate.
  10. "Maybe those fuel lines were too close to the exhaust...""
  11. Bummer mate. Sorry to hear it. Could the heat from the turbo etc effect the master cylinder?
  12. Thats really pants. :-( What happens about the older sports cars that are loud? Because some of them are quite loud! Surely they can't start making them put extra silencers into their exhausts?
  13. Thats quite a story mate, but i'm glad that your finally getting a whole car after all that time and parts going walkies! The paint looks really good, should be a show stopper when its done! :-)
  14. Adam thats bad mate! Looks like it needs to be popped!! :-)
  15. Yeah, cheers. Whats your thoughts on your idea then?
  16. Have you serviced it recently? Sometimes fresh correct grade oil can cure odd noises. If not, then could mean new parts for the engine. How many miles has you engine done?
  17. Good idea, never really thought about the age of members. I suppose, in my eyes, we're all 18+ anyway, just because owning a vr ain't cheap, regarding insurance, parts etc, and you'd have to be 18+ just to insure 1. But an adult section is a good idea.
  18. And you still tried riding off after that? Your shoulder must have felt a bit floppy! :-)
  19. If they are noisey then it could mean they are worn. Are they/it noisey all the time or just when cold, or hot? I've got a noisey tappet and am thinking about replacing the whole lot. But its only noisey when the engines up to temp.
