    Not had alot of time to do much recently, but i did find the time to remove the rear window, and the 2 rear side windows. Time for some plastic windows! Which are being cut out for me at the mo. Paint wise, nothing. Might get a chance next weekend.

    The rev counter works off of the coilpack. Having the wrong milage on the clocks won't effect that. But its unlikely that anyone will adjust the milage nowadays because of the legalities of it.

    Could be the coolant temperature sensor, on the thermostat housing. If in doubt though stick your car on vag-com to see what it brings up.
