MIDLANDS LAMPS AND PANNELS. If you can't weld or donno what your doing then you need to send it to a body shop anyway and they will get the parts for you. Can also get them from VW but silly prices, vw rear 1/4 £350, MLP rear 1/4, £70 one i brought. fits well and out of same press This isnt a job you can DIY!!!!!!!!

Its true but only happends if the filter is compleaty submerged in water. I would think your fine thought a few " puddle as long as you dont go to deep. Shouldn't this in theory increase torgue?

Well said. I'll be up for it one day. I am i right in thinking its not far from me, Brum Sutton Coldfield? If theres lots of VRs there then you can be competitive againt each other!!!! How about turning it the other way round and going down hill. With the added weight of the VR we be at an advantage lol, Never found mine to understear. Turn in was always good, back end abit twitchy if anythink. Unless im getting confused about understear

As above stock brakes should be shit hot. I did a 5 stud convertion on my 1.4 planning to put a VR in it on 288 brakes with no abs. To test them I slammed the brakes on at over 90 and they locked strate away no problem. The 1.4 brakes never used to lock so I found it a surprice lol Deffo change the fluid first and if that dont help then its probaly your master cylinder from where somones changed pads wrong, Ie without taking the cap of the fluid container If you change to bigger brakes you still need to sort the problem out other wise it will be no better

Oh and once rear end resprayed swap rusty bonnit for carbon fiber bonnit, painted up to the center section

Ummm GET IT ON THE ROAD. Engine rebuild painted chromed ect Back to metal respray but need unit Might make rusty bonnit, and respray all the pannles mint in my garaged, Doors no door handles, Smoothed Bumpers, Wings and smoothed engine bay painted Then drive around with a preped rear end, 1/4s, roof and boot lid (its having weld on arch for rust on n/s and rear 1/4s on O/S due to damage. Untill i get a unit or get body shop to spray the rear end. It would be a half rat look/ nice paint mint engine bay motor LOL Surtailty different !!!!!

Ive hurd bad things about under drive pullys damaging engines due to upsetting the crank balence or somthink. I read this on the old EIP site but its changed since then, Dont seem to deal in kits or turbos anymore, Can't even fined anythink on the VR6 engine Anyway thought you should no. You might want to look into it further.

As above about the indicators on the front bumper but i like the car, Have you got tights over the rear lights?? Im trying to deside if i want to smooth my side strips ummmm

I would say a impreza is a silly fast yet cheep and tacky rally car. Its deffo faster, better handling probaly more to insure. 2 compleaty different kind of motors. Id rather have a better made smart looking cool vdub and put a turbo on it. Rather pull up in the petrol station in a dark 400bhp VRT than a tacky lairy loud flashy over the top impreza but it depends what you want it for

Dont think so as im sure if you put the O2m 4motion box into a mk3 you have to swap the clutch and flywheel over aswell so im guessing there different -

A 5 door will never be as light as a 3 door so idealy you want a 3 door. But if you dont mind alittle extra weight than theres nothink wrong with a 5 door Only think you probaly want which isnt street legal is perspect windows. But you can swap them over for MOT and with a 5 door its a much easyer job Also tyres but toyo do some road liegal track tyres which would be pants in the wet but wicked in the dry

Cheers guys thats given me a good idea. Not cheep tho but I bet its well worth it, Been wanting to do this for ages but I gota get my VR ready for it. Been in a ferry full of VRs sitting in a polo would just get me realy realy jellos lol So I take it you all meet at the ferry and then drive down in a big swarm of VRs :) , Im sure ive had a dream about this before lol
