  2. Wait till it starts slipping then take it somwhere. You can check the guides by removing the timing covers and just checking them for wear. If your putting a new clutch in its probaly the first one its had fitted. They can last for well over 100,000 miles, I donno if performace once last longer but standard ones are ment to be good for 250bhp
  3. If you got not power stearing fluid in it then its probaly the pump that thats making the noise. Probaly not the best idea to run that dry!!!!!. I would fill that up first and see if that stops the noise. Yep your right VR6s are so nice to drive lol. Mines off the road atm for engine rebuild and back to metal respary. Im driving a 1.4 new clio which is about 2 foot off the ground and has a shocking amount of body roll lol. I hate it and can't wait to get the VR back
  4. Timing marks on the other side of the engine on the crank pully! Then take the rocker cover off and put the plates back in the cams? Donno about the inter sproket Its under the covers. Could be your tappits filling up if they where new and you didn't prime them? Depends how long you have had it running for. If its still doing it after 2minutes (at the most) Then its probaly not your tappits. So i donno.
  5. I love type As, Wicked wheels. Make sure you post some pictures. Umm As for the wheel spares I donno. Have you tryed it without them on and if so how much does it contact the caliper? Ive hurd of people grinding abit off calipers if its not that much to gain clearnce....

  7. Very nice mate. Fit manual wing mirrors aswell, You be surpriced how much lighter they are from the electric onces and once there set up there no need to move them. Im going to hit perspect in the front doors aswell as you can take them out again for MOT or shows. Also have you notest how you can take the metal bar/ side impact protection out of the doors? Quick qwestion. Where did you get your rollcage from and is it a full rollcage (through the dash) sutable for a car with a sunroof. weld in or bolt in? Show or proper use race??   8. That seems to make sence. I know the gearbox one give you alot of vibration in the cab but not the stearing collum altho i can imagin that the rear engine mount could cause that, dont think that would be very nice to live with tbf
  9. Its not the brown one. Thats for cars with aircon. VRs without aircon only have the blue and yellow one. At a guess (its only a guess its the yellow one you need to change) as its got more wires going to it so thats problay the one that talks to the ECU

  11. I dont think turbos on a VR will fit under the bonit. Im not sure tho. You might be better of supercharging it

  13. Get compertion VT onces. As said above the road onces dont last long. The gearbox one increases gearbox noise and cab vibration but i like it. Sounds like a dog box and just feels faster because of the vibration, lol
  14. Thats what im hoping. Theres only one way to find out tho and thats to get down and try and do it. I think im going to buy a rolling shell for the price you can get one for and do the convertion on that.

  16. Thats the plan. Hadlex system off a 4 motion like yours. You need a syncro rear axal to modifly to fit the hadlex rear diff. And you need to fabricate a braket to put on the 02M gearbox (4motion box) Then chop the gearbox cup off the subframe. Put the engine box in to find out where to reweld the gearbox mounting cup. Weld it on, Custom driveshafts and gear selector and cables from a 4 motion Now ive just goto find out about the prop tunnel down the center of the car

  20. Thinner/ longer inlet track more torque, Wider and shorter inlet track more BHP
  21. If they are leaking then theres no point in fitting them as they will fail an MOT and wont work properly!!! It not hard tho
