  1. Theres no need to buy bolts from VW, the allen key fitments are a rubbish idea. Ive used 17mm headed bolts with the same tread and lengh which should never cause a problem if you have to have them off again. If hammering a socket on doesnt work then grind the head off. Its easy to remove the thread once the carrer is off the car buy putting in vice. You might need to remove wheel bearing nut and outer wheel bearing so you can remove the disc at the same time to gain clearnce while you remove the carrer. Hope this helps
  2. Mine pulls to the left. More nostiable when first pulling off. Im currenty changing all the bushs for polly items and while having my wishbones off the N/S rear bush was badly worn and cracked which im asuming caused the problem. I will inform when once back on the road to if the problem has gone away
  3. I too dislike the abs. Its nice when braking hard from over a 100mph because you can just slam the pedal to the floor and it does the rest for you but when slowing down at lower speeds seems to realy delay my braking distance. As mensioned my ABS light has came one which happened in the snow. Im thinking thats its the same fault with the ECU pins but i dont realy want to fix it. Im wondering if any damage will be caused buy contining to use my car like this or should i replum the brake system with parts from a mk3 without abs? Also has anyone thought about putting a switch in the system so
