  1. Mine has so far never gone above the 90 mark with the satndard thermostat. Even when giving it plenty on the road, and even on rolling road for that matter.
  2. What about the main water pump, if this isn't pushing the water around enough this i would have thought would have caused the temperature needle to increas past the normal 90 mark
  3. Go On jake, you show those prancing horses a proper car 8-|
  4. Check the wires in the door jam as they have a habbit of breaking for some reason.
  5. Forum seems to be cooking on Gas at the momment, Pete if you've done anything STOP and please leave it as it is . 8-|
  6. I'm gon try my damm hardest to make this one.
  7. Not trying to be daft but have you connected the wear indictor wire to the car.
  8. It cost me £100 just for 2 rear bearings fitted, so it sound about right to me. But then aganin you should only pay for what you have asked to do.
  9. More then likley. I just disconncet the battery and leave for 10mins. Re-Connect the battery and turn the ingnition on but don't start the car and leave for 5mins. And then start the car and start driving.
  10. I don't think you have to reset it, but i think it makes sense if you do. It's so that the ECU can go back to the default settings, and start to learn the increase in air flow and adapat more quickley.
  11. So did it all go on well in the end, nice bit of kit that. I forgot to mention that you might want to reset the ECU once you fitted the Ram air.
  12. Nice to meet you Kev and have chat, just remember that you need to speak to Claire about getting a Pro Ram-Air. It will put a smile to your face. Oh yes nice pics aswell.
  13. The earth braid is quite common, I had the same problem as you when i first got the car, ended up just putting in a re-con one from ECP
  14. It should run regardless if the fans have come on or not. Basically if you turn the ignition lights the aux pump should start pumping, turn the ignition off and the pump should continue running for a futher 10mins or so. Im not sure why yours isn't running once the ignition has turned off, but i will have a look in the Bentley for you and post back
  15. Anyone no whats happening about the club passes, have they been sent in the post or are we collecting them from Jake at the show
  16. Sorry Riggs :$ , Got a bit busy detailing the car from underneath for the Inters show. If you still need the VagCoM you can pop up to me hose if you want just send as PM when you fancy comming Looks like a good turnout, welldone to all that turned up.
  17. There was a post about this last week. But since it's you Adam here's my reply Theres 3 bolts holding the tensioner in place remove any one of the bolts. Place the bolt in threaded hole in the tensioner and wined it in to realse the tension from the belt. Change the belt Relase the bolt form the tensioner and place it back where you took it out of earlier
  18. I woudnt use it, as the VR engine runs quite hot at the best of times. And if rad weld can block small holes in the raditor just think what it might block in the engine
  19. Check for the voltage on the plug that goes to the Aux water pump when the ignition lights are on. If the 12V is there and there is no humming sound when the cable is connected the pumps burnt out.
  20. I'll see what i can do Riggs.
  21. How come you didn't get them done at the dealers, dont the staff get any discount.
