    Sorry to hear that Riggs, but wakefield isn't the best part of yorkshire. I wished you caught one of those tossers and gave him a good kicking.     No Gales up here, i just wiped the windows down for now, try and finish it off at the show. The nieghbours must have been thinking i was mad. It was like the weather was having an April fool joke with me.

    Was your engine running when you had it plugged into vagcom, as if it wasn't i think that would cause speed sensor repoting a fault.

    Been a right nightmare today, been tyring to clean the so that it's ready for the show tommorow. Sun came out about 10am 8) so thought i'll start with a wash and dried the car. I then applied the polish and buffed off and it starts raining when i get to the end so go inside for coffe. Round 2 rain stops 8) so dried the car again applied the sealent and when i get to buffing off it starts raining again ~ as i get to the last panel so go inside for a cold one.     are you sure you didn't have low temp thermosat fitted, as these open at 70c.

    It depends on what antifreeze has been used as if it wasn't the OEM G12 then the internals might have rusted. You will probably have to keep flushing till clear and refill. Might take a few flushes till it comes clear again

    i saw these too, i was going to put a bid on them but the auction ended early. They look like the ones that came on the Fire and Ice M2 Golf. But these must have come from MK3 Fire and Ice which i think are only avaliable in germany. Would look really nice polished up thou.

    daily driver for me 4miles to work and 4miles back. Try not not to use it for the shopping run. Would prefer to park it up and use at weekends but the wife not's happy about a 3rd car. She just dosen't understand.

    Have you got a aftermarket exhaust on it? as that could be causing the popping sound when the revs come down.and is quite normal Sounds good thou
