  9. The best polisher that a lot of detailers rave on about is the Porter Cable, you can by this from the polishing company for about £230. It all depends what you want it for. ie paint correction or something to take the labour out putting on polishes and sealents by hand. The Meguiars cordless polisher looked like a good buy but at nearly £100 its a bit much for what it is IMO. And it seems that they have stoped doing these for some reason. Have look on here lnfo wwww.detailingworld.co.uk
  10. Image fixed, you need to use small case 'i' in the word 'Img' But the pics just a bit to small
  11. We've had loads of post's about what to use to clean the exterior of the car, and what to use for the leather. But what about the rest of the dash and plastic bits, what do you guys use. I want something that will give the dash a nice matt finish and not the cheap shiny plastic look.
  12. Would the dealers have special tools to take out the drive shaft from hub, and should i take it there for the work instead
  13. I had the car booked in the garage to replace the outer CV Boot, thinking it wouldn't be more then a couple of hours for the work i left the car with them. I then get a phone call couple of hours later saying they can't do it today as the drive shaft is seized in with hub ~ . And i'll need to get a new CV Joint and a New wheel bearing. Should the drive shaft just pop out once the hub nut has been removed and a few other bits. Or is there a circlip some where in there that needs to be removed

  20. best to get the oil changed and take out for a good run. Then check the oil cap for any mayo, It could be just the cold weather.
  21. It could be also the coil pack as thes are prone to get hair line cracks which can cause the misfire. See if you can get it on a vagcom to check for fault codes. I'll be happy to help with this if you are in my area.
