    Just worked out that if you reply to the PM quoting the original message you can see the details for the email address

    It seems that when you PM your email to another user the address seems to be getting stiped off. Is there a reason why

    Have you tried engine cleaner this very good for very dirty wheels with baked on tar. and also try claying if you can rwach the areas with your hands. I would also recommend that you use a wheel sealent at the end to protect the build in the future.

    Sound exactly like what shail said, I had this problem when I first got the car I tried starting it with it still in gear and the car just stalled obviously. Tried starting it again and nothing-happened just ignition lights coming on and not turning. Changed the starter and it was a goodun again. Apparently the starter are quite a common fault according to the guy at ECP. Have you tried bump starting I know you shouldn't but it will eliminate all other possibilities if it starts

    Funny you mention this PHM, I went to Scotland last weekend. And I saw 2 MK3 golfs in car park went a bit closer look, and one was a Black highline and the other was Mulberry GTI with colour coded bumpers and side strips, cloth interiors and GTI badges front and back. This was the first gti I have seen in this colour.

    I've had a look on the ETKA CD but there dosen't seem to be a part for it. Might have to goto the dealers and ask them they might be able to help you. Or contact richvr he migh be able to help you.

    I really wish i could have made this one, sorry to let the side down. Had to spend some quality time with the family at sunny Scarborough. Anyone got any pics? Was the guy who's from Scarborough there Pete, I'm sure i saw a VR going in the opposite direction about 1pm.

    Where does the needle sit with neuspeed Tstat in. Is it bang in the middle again as the with the OE one. And did you also change the sensor for the fan so it switches on earlier.

    I guess your applying the products by hand, If you cant wait for delivery i would try the Merguiars quick clay first then follow up with the merguiars 3 stage crystal system. Have a look also on here for some great tips when it comes to cleaning cars. www.detailingworld.co.uk
