  1. It should be a laugh. We really enjoyed last year... Its a shame we missed it, but not this time!
  2. I run an Emerald K3 ecu, but when i built mine i didn't research the management options available. As said above, get in contact with those that can work wonders with the standard ecu. It will make life easier in the long run!
  3. Nice mounts. And the standards are very soft, but i suppose thats to keep noise and vibration down. So whens the charger coming???
  4. 6" g clamp, and yes you need a wind back tool for the rears
  5. Not on the front calipers, you could use a clamp or pry bars to push the piston back.
  6. £44.98 for two people and two breakfasts ...... When did you book? Anyone else who hasnt booked fancy sharing a room? I'd say you could share with us, but katie gets a bit noisey sometimes, and i snore like a train! So the price was right, oh well, sh@t happens.... booking later
  7. Are you using the correct fuel pressure regulator?
  8. Thats normal driving over there, nothing out of the ordinary!
  9. To finish building the bloody thing! An possibly gaining a standard vr to use over the winter months.... watch this space!
  10. Jakes only got a small one, so i had to play with that...
  11. I sealed mine with sealant just to be sure, glad you found it anyway!
  12. I had to use a sledge hammer an Adam held a pointed drift on the end, it took a few hits to release it! Refit with gease or copper slip!
  13. Impact gun, a snap on 1/2" batt impact will undo hub nuts, if not an air 1/2" or 3/4" will get them off.
  14. Nice 1 gav, looks like a good example, hopefully see it at Xmas meal?
  15. It's the rear engine mounting that differs, I think, so you'll need the main subframe. Good luck with the build, it's got to be easier than what you had planned!
  16. Imho plugs don't make any difference unless your running forced induction, so just standard normal plugs will be fine. I also think long life engine consumables that are over priced are a waste of money.
  17. Possibly the front subframe as the engine mount is different, like on mk2's. You'll need the clocks too.
  18. Is your car obd1/2? Have you checked your battery for voltage/internal fluid level? It might be an idea to have it plugged into vagcom to see if there are any error codes.
  19. What kit are you buying? Have you got a power goal? Tonyvrt might be able to help you out on the fitting.
