    I'd start again, bolts should be fine, as they usually stretch on the 90deg turns. Slacken the bolts in the reverse of the thightening sequence.

    Pretty sure marks coming, maybe keep 2 seats spare for the gay boy an his wife?

    You should always torque a head down according to the specs given. It means the head is equally tightened so as not to distort it. It's also means that the gasket is compressed equally and will create a good seal. Tip; you should always grease/lube up the bolts and washers before assembly to stop them binding up.

    It's easy enough to take the driveshaft off the car, and strip it to replace the boots mate.
