    I'll forget that then. A less economical vr, there not the best on fuel with a normal gearbox. Agh I need all of the stuff as it's for a mk2 build.

    i didnt know if it would be like dsg a normal automatic but then you can move the knob across and have a manual sequential, ps stig do you have the gearbox and loom to the 2.9 engine you have advertised in the sig?

    i have been searching for a vr6 either for its running gear or to use as a complete car. then i came across a good rado vr6 but it said semi-auto 1-3 drive. if anyone can shed some light on what they are and how good they are as i cant seem to find any info on them all i know is there rare as rocking horse poop. does it work like dsg or what :S

    when i did a vr6 conversion i had the top plug disconnected and never caused any issues, i think its to do with air-con as when i did the conversion i removed something which had vacuum lines attatched to it any went through the bulk head to what looked like the heater controls. and then another pipe to a canister in the arch lining. the second looks like it belongs in the radiator.

    that sounds immense, were you at harewood this year? i cant remember taking any pics of it, or seeing it, i must have missed it if it was as there was alot to look at. nice car tho either way.

    Make sure your alternator is ok. Don't go discharging batteries for fun, trust me it's not fun. I have now fitted a volt gauge.

    If I sold the mk2 i would want 1k, it dosent need to be a mk2 or even a golf. I wouldn't mind a vento as I have always had golfs.

    Hi folks, basically i miss my vr6, i got rid due to large amounts of rot on the floor pan. i then needed a car so i brought a mk2 golf gti. Now dont get me wrong its never missed a beat and is quite quick but its not yet put a mile on my face. so do i do another engine swap which involves tracing a decent engine and everything else etc etc and put it in a mk2 or do a sell the mk2 and save for a decent vr6.?

    mk3 golf vr6 suspension and top mounts fit (im using), as do corrado ones

    they look like mk2 golf top mounts :/ but i juse replaced what you took off with what you have bought when i put vr coilovers and top mounts on the mk2 and they work fine.

    that wing must create some downforce for the speeds it will achieve, especially with a power to weight ratio like that. lol

    i love the colour, i think it really suits a mk3, and its all abnout the little subtle touches that only people with a fine eye can spot. top work

    mine do that i and i have helper springs and no problems or noises here but mine are mk3 vr coilovers on a mk2 golf.

    Sorry to sound thick but did you send the ECu off or did you drive it without it being mapped. And what he said, why the change of heart? Dont suppose you want to swap for a mk2 ? Lol

    What did you use to get it running? Just the standard ecu? Or did you use rising rate regulator ?
