  1. eventualy replaced the coilpack and that solved the problem
  2. cool cheers VR6_Absy from looking at your build thread would I be correct in saying the mk4 r32 is slightly easier to fit than the mk5?

  4. no cant move it myself, how much should it move? mines moves about1-2 inchs back an forth!!!
  5. just changed the top mounts and bearings on my golf and when i turn the steering the top of the top plate of the suspension and suppose the mount also moves back and forth???? any body got any ideas on what i have done wrong?? thanks in advance
  6. my strut top mounts where making a noise so i ordered some new mounts and bearings from ebay and this is what i recieved I removed somthing that looks totally diferent from the car the only bearing seems to be attached to the coilover???? not sure whats what to be honest lol the car is a 98 golf vr6 any info greatly appreciated cheers
  7. my car is doing the exact same, think im going to change the coilpack next!!
  8. Previous owner changed ht leads, old ones are in the boot!! it idles ok and revs ok, as the problem gets better when the car warms up makes me think it could be somthing else??

Hello i have reacently bought a 98 vr6 and there seem to be a problem when accelerating the car judders, its like trying to go up a hill in the wrong gear!! if in 3rd i constanly need to change to 2nd to accelerate! it seems to get better when the car car is warm?? i have just changed the cam position sensor but its still the same! any thoughts are much appreaciated
