  5. my mate just brought a 4 motion v6 for £2500... 120k needs a few litle bits doing, had a look over it and it s bargin personally id rather have a 4 motion and a turbo but im sure the Anniversarys is a really good car

  8. very good and id love one in mine, Its defiantly a 24v but im unsure if its a 3.2 or a 2.8, both are great engines anyway at a guess id say its the 2.8 as the manifold looks slightly different

  10. smoke is most probably caused by valve stem seals/ guides. As to why it seized i have no idea but its normally lack of oil pressure/ overheating unless something hectic has happened
  11. haha love this Ive done a few, After fitting a engine even tho there was a small coolant leak i dropped the bonnet and went for a test drive, been young and in a rush to get out i didn't connect the bonnet pull back up :-d which ended in hours of trying to get my bonnet open in the middle of nowhere haha overheating ect fitted my calipers on upside down so i couldn't bleed them, 3 days down the line before i worked it out Filling the engine oil up at work without the sump plug :-d (they loved it) theres a few more but noones ever going to find out about them LOL
  12. wouldn't call it crap round corners lol but not the quickest, spot on road car tho and an amassing car all round recon a 1350 bhp striped out pure carbon fiber track suspension set up veyron could be quickest round the track lol
  13. it can dude, from a leaking crank seal, but would have to be really bad, Its def clutch related, If your slave cylinder is mullered it normaly stops you from disengaging/ make gearchange hard but i suppose it could get stuck out or might take time to ruturn imo changing clutch will sort it...

Tig welding is HARD but once you can do it you can do any think lol the only way to weld stainless and ally properly imo you wont find it hard to source gas Kev but it isn't cheep Once you know how to set it up its just lots of practice, newer the welder the easyer it is. Last one i used pulse's the arc and you could weld ally without any rod and was neat and easy, adding the rod and keeping it neat strong AND air tight is where it gets difficult
  15. I normally like the smooth clean engine bays but thats wicked, id have never guessed cable ties where holding your VRT together lol How hard is it to tune your own car? Put very simply is it just adjusting fuel flow vs throttle position working off the AFR meter in the cab? and then copy a stock ignition map changing it to retard or advance on boost (dunno which) if your AFR reading is between 12- 14.71 though out the rev range and you haven't got much knock then is that a good tune? Also could you email one of your current maps to someone who's running a similar spec as yours and it would ru

  17. seen. is that why the speedo is always different to my tomtom? The speedo in the car is set 5mph faster than your going just to make sure you don't get done for speeding. You can go thouch speed camers at 35 wthout getting flashed but don't take my word for it lol

  19. Its a really nice bay tho, Imagine that intake with turbo intercooler pipe coming from slam panel . then have the turbo and other pipes hiden have always thought that vw make good looking engines tbf
