maybe you need change the idle positions for those guage's, take it off again and and check.
  3. ive got a sebring and its big but sounds great its a bit big though.
  4. 125?!?!? i get scared at 50mph, lol.
  5. ive done 8000 miles my pzero nero, 205/40 zr17 89w and the front tyres have little tread left on them. To soft, too much wheel spin, but i'm confident undsteer'ing around corners with them.
  6. if it were a mk3 i'd say get fault codes read, can you do this with yours too?
  7. ive had my water pump go on my vr, luckily it didn't blow up, you can see it 'going' by the water leakage + the pump's pully wont track (rotate) striahgt & will wobble. To replace this is an arse of a job, i got away with un doing the engine mounts and just jacking the engine up, its a tight fit to get the pump out though without damaging any ancilleries. It should take a competant mechanic 2 hours to do.
  8. i access vr6oc on my hx7700 ipaq, okay, with no problems, i guess its becuase its IE running html in native rather then WAP (which is old and crap lol) . get a pda phone if u wanna browse net on the mobile.
  9. yep well lucky, i'm not gonna say anything apart from keep you're higline walnut wooden gear knob...so you can say, 'that was lucky, touch wood' in the car.
  10. dub i thought u might be selling ur RH's, if so pm me.
  11. best thing to make them brighter is to upgrade to HID bulbs using a ballast kit, i had a link to a place that sold em for about 200 quid with a full diagrammed instruction (online) for install on a mk3.
  12. oil breather pipe is proned to cracking, or the rocker gasket could have failed, or you can just ignore it until you smell oil in your passenger compartment like me, then stop ragging it .
  13. beru, the red ones are expensive, but best imo, i think the oem (thick ones) are frigging good too.
  14. i really recommend getting the deep front splitter for your car, it's a very good look, also during the summer there isnt a need for those mudguards on your rear tyres (although in this thunder/lighting/rain its prolly a good idea)
  15. Yep, i bought my BMC at christmas time from the Group buy back then, its brilliant and it just sounds awesome when you put your foot down at 2-3k, its a snarling animal, i wish the engine was less refined so other people could hear it.
  16. that must be seriously quick with 550kg :/
  17. generally mine is 102 oil temp and 108 max is i floor it on a long motor way trip, but quickly falls to 98 if stop doing 4000rpm.
  18. thats it m8, look on the bright side, i got about 9 of those types of dents hidden all over the car heh.
  19. stevenh, this is a REALLY important thing to get fixed, if ur tensioner's give up (which could happen at any time), you're chain will slip and ull get piston valve contact, ruining the engine. if you need the guide or part no's for doing this urself pm me. but after 73k considering mine has just done 75k on n'plates, i'm unsure about the tensioner's being a problem at this time. but get it checked, better safe than sorry...
  20. dont go to dealer, get it done with some poly bushes or o.e.m from euro, then get a cheap garage to do it.
