  2. thinking of buying some V-Maxx coilovers. V-Maxx is owned & made by B.V Hiltrac. B.V Hiltrac have only just started marketing these kits under their own brand (V-Maxx) although you will have seen their kits being branded under several names including Eibach, Weitec & FK Automotive The coilover suspension kit is fully adjustable, will go down to around 120mm Comes with full TUV approval, and a 2 year warranty. Includes the c adjusting spanner, and everything needed to get the kit on the car. priced at £305 what do you think?

  5. ok im back again, a few of you might remember a few months ago i was on here trying to get a few pointers to get my mk2 vr running again. (no spark or petrol getting to the engine) after weeks of trying to get her going i failed and gave up so i took her to a auto electrical garage spoke to the bloke told him about the car and he was happy to take it on. they have had it for 3 weeks now. he phoned me today telling me after hours of scratching their heads they were unable to find the problem. he is not going to charge me for the time they have spent on her which is sweet... (sound bloke) so whe
  6. cheers for your help guys. will try putting a post on the corrado site
  7. yes the dash lights come on. im running the 2.9 corrado engine. i got the coil pack and crank sensor off a mk3 golf 2.8 lhd acident damaged. would that make any difference? i will check the vaccum pipe to the ecu. the earth is ok cheers lee
  8. hello again people, after 3 weeks now i haven't been able to get my mk2 vr6 running again. i have got no spark and no fuel. i have got power to the fuel pump and the coilpack. i have changed the following parts: coilpack, hall sender, crank sender and ecu. and still nothing. im lost now and haven't got a clue what to do next, so i guess it is time to get someone who knows what they are doing. Does anyone know of someone in the cambridge area who would be able to help? cash in hand thanks
  9. yes mate near newmarket. tryed another crank sensor today and still nothing. i know i said i had fuel but i don't, before i didn't take the fuel lines completey off and fuel p***** out, just took them fully off today and i am not getting any fuel. got power at the fuel pump but it is not running. so if i had no spark and no fuel it would suggest that the ecu could be knackered...
  10. just checked the crank sensor and it looks quite new, gave it a wipe down, all the surfaces were clean and free of rust. it is at red lodge. when i went last sat everything was ther apart fom the wheels and airbox. what are you after?
  11. nice, should save me a few quid. that is where i got the coilpack from. is there any other parts that would be worth robbing?
  12. nice one. cheers for that mate, will take it off and give it a good clean. looks like i will have to take the front end off to get to it tho. i know where there is a mk3 vr6 golf at a scrap yard near me (left hand drive) the crank sensor will be the same as the one on the corrado isnt it?
  13. think i am going blind lol can't see it anywhere thanks for your help
