  3. thanx guys, im just about to order the new aux water pump and a new pulley tensioner....hopefully the new aux water pump doesnt leak...u sure its not an o ring that needs replacing?

  5. hehe justin is it possible to chrome the subframe? wouldnt it just get really dirty really quickly?
  6. i think the vr6 has a self adjusting hydraulic clutch, so i dont think its adjustable, i know on my mk2 it was adjustable, but thats not really helpful...sorry. but, HIGH bite points are usually the sign of a worn clutch, increasing engine speed and no increase in road speed (usually when ur floor it in 5th gear its noticible) . My vr6 has quite a low bite point, but i think its normal, my mk2 used to bite near the top, and got through two clutches in 1 year [ Edited Sun Dec 12 2004, 11:53PM ]

    you took yours from the other side, so where as mine sits a little above, your sits a little below, you cant get a head on shot of the frigging needle so its a little diseptive. needless to say, if you set it on 0 you should be okay lol.

    yeah if its all kicking in and there is no cold air coming in then it needs gassing, also feeling the temperature of the pipes will tell this too i think, 1 should be very very very cold.

  14. if your head gasket goes, you will put water in to your cylinders (bad), your engine will heat up extremely quickly, the aluminium head (i think) will recieve large amounts of heat in areas it hasnt recieved any before and will warp, your head will need reskimming *(they take the top layer off of it to flatten it down)* and if hydrolock your engine (water + oil = locked engine i think) and you try to crank (start) your car you may bend the piston rods (is that what they are called right?)...also bad. its horrific. dont do it.

  18. i paid 4500 for my 69000 highline, as standard, so i dont know why this is a rip off...witht hose allys, lowered and the bumpers and it looks clean. Its a llttle too slammed tho ...just imo. i think 4500 in july was okay for a mint highline...which ive promptly scracteed and dented . [ Edited Fri Dec 10 2004, 07:37AM ]

  21. thats why i keep getting punctures when ever i drive my F1 spare car at silverstone...oh my tyres cost about 90000 quid so im a little annoyed.
