    that is one sweet ride, not sure about the alloys or that HUUUUUGE exhaust on the back . didnt know vw did alloys like that. Some elbow grease (quite literally) will solve ur shricks unhappy face . yeah very nice im sure its darn quick and handles nice with those arbs.

    yeah i agree with justin, im paranoid about kerbing my alloys. However for some reason (i have no clue) my car just seems to accumulate scratches. I put it down to letting other people clean ur car, by hand... i'm booked in with chips away to get rid of a nasty one in the rear quarter....time taken to scratch - .1 sec time taken to repair? 2hours + 90 quid.

    its better to get ur car chipped and then MAPPED (yeah this is the key lol) so that the chip has a map that matches ur car, only profetssionals can map ur car for max bhp/torque... when and if i do mine it will be done at stealth (oh yeah dream on...and ill get a shrick while im there too....lol)

    its better just to get some new 17 components all round m8. I've now got a set of pioneer 15's ffrom my golf mk2 that wont fit and im saving for bigger speakers now.

    i think so... just to confirm i definately have square repeaters (they have slightly rounded corners). they are rectangular. my car is an N reg highline (its definately highline ) [ Edited Thu Dec 02 2004, 09:15PM ]

    timing chains??? get ur timing chain GUIDES & tensioner replaced, they wear and eventually wear and the tensioner gets fully extended and bang...ur timing chain skips a sproket and u die...
