i just got a diagnostic check on my abs system as the abs light kept lighting up. two fault codes came up: 00285 - abs sensor (i think) and 01276 - hydraulic brake pump. my car's a 97 VR6 obd2 i been told that by changing the sensor it might resolve the hydraulic brake problem. do you think this could be true? im having doubts im afraid. if the brake pump needs changing will the ecu need changing at the same time?? thanx

hi guys, recently i have noticed my car revving up quicker above the norm. as i plant my foot right down the revs seem to shoot up about 800 - 1000 when im driving at low revs but performance doesnt seem to respond straight away, almost as if there is a lag. does this seem like symtoms of a wearing out clutch? if so what clutch wwould be reccomended as my car engine is standard and wont be charged until at least a year. thanx in advance piv

looking to buy a gearbox, what sort of things should i be askin or looking for?

although bbs rs's are gettn common they still look 8) . i reckon LM''s are the way forward but every1 is right, its hard finding a set in 17". i saw one mk3 on lm's an dam it looked kool. i think he's off this site aint he?

will a de-cat reduce your torque if your not running a charger?

could any one reccomend any good bodyshops in the london area (dont mind traveling but not too far) as in need of rust removal. basically bought the car with the plastic arch trims and water must have got behind them and rustted up the arches. now all four arches need attention. also some rust found as you open the door at the bottom between the ruber. how much am i looking at to repair? im thinkin only the sides will need spraying? thanx piv

as stated in the title im after some bbs LM's. Just wanted to know if they were split rims or just one piece. the reason i ask is that i would like to get biigger dishes put on as the effect i want is 17's x 9 inch (including a deep dish) and slammed on my konigsports. also what offset would you reccomend and are spacers needed? cheers for the help in advance.

has any one had any problems with decat pipes before as im interested in getting one. also are there any reccomended pipes or is it a case of they all do the job? cheers
