    yes, my car will automatically print out a speeding ticket when i go 5 mph under the speed limit, so i have mine limited to 25mph for 30mph roads incase there is a sudden hill or incase a milk float crashes into the back of me.

    we should make it so only registered users can visit this forum, and make it so that in our terms, only non law enforcement people can visit the website. I've never done any speeding in my life, im too scared to go above 50mph anyways.

    mine are RH ZW1, but i dont know what make the adaptors are, all i made sure was that they were TUV approved.

    do you have adaptors on your RH rims? i have a set of rh zw1's that are 5x112 and i've got a set of adaptors (25mm) coming to the UK, but am unsure if its going to fit or not, i dont know the offset. its 8x17....can anyone help me pleaseee!

    60mm thats 6cm right? i think you'd seriously have to watch the sump, exhaust system, front splitter, and wont be able to drive over anything that has a bump in it.

    i think the torque makes a car feel powerful, it gives that effortless urge you feel in a vr in comparison with a honda civic type r which doesnt feel as fast..until it's doing more revs than a motor bike lol.

    funny, i got some help from the clubbies with my bonnet lifters too... the stall i bought the lifters from had marked all the mk3 packs as mk2 and visa versa....lucky i decided to try them out before i went home!!

    m8, mods for the vr cost quite a bit, the best thing is to get it remapped 400+ bigger throttle body (since uve probably got odb1) 350+ schrick 1200+ cams ??? big head ??? bmc cda 120 it costs moneeeeyyy to get power.

    if the lady is going this far, get the insurance involved and let them deal with it.. Believe me neither company wants to pay out, you're company will fight like shit over theirs...(as long as its economical)

    Itunes unticked also means it wont play by default if you have your itunes set to shuffle. I use a mac and use itunes to share music around the house without having to have it on loads of computers.

    So sorry to hear it go . I would seriously consider fixing it yourself, if its only what you said it is, then a new grille, radiator and headlights would cost at least 200 quid and a tie rod(dunno what that is, but cant cost more than 500 for it?) thats 800 quid for a repair... p.s move this to parts for sale and you'll get response.

    i've tried it so many times, and given up, it just ruins the paintwork, i've only used it on bumpers mind you, i'd never put it on the metal paintwork, bumpers can be replaced easily...

    vw isnt as reliable as i though? considering the cars are coming up on 10 years old (mine is anyways) it's in good condition (touch wood) and will continue to give me happy motoring miles into the 100k's.

    Hi, does anyone know where i can buy/build an ODB1 vagcom compatible cable? question for you, is EODB the same as ODB1?

    i'm with justin here, the odb2 have a bigger bore throttle body (which is why amd don't do big bore tb for odb2 cars, becuase they already have it!) which equates to more power.

    stereo was installed by vw specifically for that.

    ive had water pump, aircon, powersteering pump, abs, aux water pump, radiator in the last 9 months.
