  1. I just put mine on when ever i take the car on the motorway with a layer of wax underneath , leave it off for normally as i don't think it can be to good for the paint if left on all the time.
  2. You can fit R32 centre caps on instead fit straight on the back wheels and no need to bash anything, and no need for spacers. I'll get you picture of the wheels if you want only got the caps on last night.
  3. They look very simillar to the Corrado speed lines, which would be a direct fit for the VR, and thers ushally loads on ebay. Just keep looking mate
  4. I'[m not sure, It's just that i've seen them in the MK2's so i think it would be adapting the subframes or something. I will be spaeking with MJ Interiors so will see what he has to say and get back to you
  5. May be its got a flat spot between 70 and 80 rpm :-p
  6. Are the front seats standard at the momment? If they are i would try and source some standard Recaro seats for the MK3 and have them re-trimmed in leather. Or some Reacro front seats out of a RS Turbo.
  7. The cheapest place will probably be by killokilla on here, he lives in Stoke and charges about £550 all in with a new clutch.

  16. Or you can use the file on small nail cutter. You do know you have to insert it in the top two cornners. Thats how i got my mates stereo out.
  17. If it's the belt tensioner it might be good idea to re-grease the bearing first to see if the noise goes away. Theres a guide for it in this section quite easy to do aswell
  18. I want to replace the the leather over the hand brake, can some one tell me how to get the old one off. Do i need unbolt the hand brake or some thing. Or can i take the plastic ring off that goes around the handbrake button.
  19. My passion started after visting Inters a few years back when it was at Ipswich. Just loved the way it looked so understated, it was like you had to be in the know to know what sort of Mk3 it actually was, And when heard going up the strip they sounded so cool that i had to have, That and getting a load of stick from my mates as i only had Mk3 8V Gti at the time. LOL
