  1. what are people running as tyre pressure as mine are all over the place....fronts (34/38).. rear (36/34)...
  2. misses probably has.. i bought it for her so I can work on the Beema.. currently pushing 230bhp form a 3.0 diesel.
  3. sounds ok... i paid a similar price for my one with 100K on it.. engines are spot on.. chain driven
  4. Sold it ages ago.,. got a 330d M-sport Tourer.. still got it..
  5. halesowen ways.. i'm sure ive seen ur VR on the Hagley Rd...
  6. After several years away from the VW scene (mainly BMW)... i bought a V6 4-motion for the misses. I been looking for a safe decent family 2nd motor and this one had all the bits i wanted.. Sat-Nav, heated leather recaro seats, 6-cd changer, FSH.. Mileage was a bit higher than i would have liked but in the 9months the previous owner had the car he's spent close to £1K on maintenance.... all it needs is some cosmetic touchups and a good machine polish! No modding happenin on this one (for the moment)... misses can do what she want to it...
  7. love the brakes... really stands out amongst the 'normal' crowd...
  8. Looks top mate.. love the wheels.. love the DIY job on the lights..!
  9. OliVeR6.... looking sweet mate... the brakes looks spot on when clean and shiney... glad you got them fitted ok... £500 for some brakes that are designed to make Uber German machines stop from 100mph in a fraction is worth it.. especially when you go down the turbo route.
  10. Early as possible.. they only came in '99/00... quite a few out there.. but not many with any history...
  11. I had a few light scratches.. and after claying the bumper still didn't look the best.. so just used some t-cut i had... it came up a bit better... For a quick sale as my insurance was due to run out. accepted £2500 cash. I sold my Porsche brakes on for £400.. so £2900 in total. 2 Years of ownership.. spent about £5K including buying car/maintenance/insurance etc.. so not bad... On with the hunt for a 4-motion!
