    Only got a choice of these 3 as i'm buying off ebay. Think i'm going to go for the Toyo's as they are meant to be good in both wet ad dry condtions. Does anyone know if the Toyo's come with rim protectors?

    I need to get set of tyres to go with TT Comps, but which ones should i get. I've got choice of these only Toyo T1S £220 Yokohama Parada £249 Khumo KU31 £204

    If you mean the rear axle bushes i think i paid £150 to have them dom

    If you can buy an empty barrel from the dealers, you can then take all the bits out of your old lock and fit them in to your new one. I had to buy the whole boot lock with a new key when mine broke. Then i just fitted the bits from the old lock barrel to the new barrel. That way everything worked with one key.

    Just make sure the Jetex is a 3 Box syestem as they do 2 types. I got longlife custom built with a 3 box system with the tailpipes that i wanted. Nice and quite normaly but gets a lovely deep note, after long motorway drive

    The 1000miles per litre of oil is quoted bt VW in the owners manual.

    I paid about £750-£800 for the chains and the clutch only which is roughly what stealth charge.

    Theres not set limt for the chains or the water pump to be changed. If the car sounds quiet at 1200rpm then the cahins should be fine. As for the water pump have look down the left hand side of the engine bay where all the pullys are, and with engine running see if you can see any of thepullys wobling.

    Right the time has come for me to start playing with inseides of the car. *-) One of the things that will be going is the wooden steering wheel and the wooden gear knob. :$ I've been looking about on various internet shops and ebay but can't find anything that i like :@ . The one i do like is proving very diffcult to get hold of, so what's everyone else using in there MK3 and if you could post picture of it that would be even better.
