  1. Deffinatlet try the Megs Quick Clay, Tyr putting you hand in a plastic sandwich bag and then running your hand over the car and you feel the bumps even more.
  2. Is your whine not going away at all, as it might be the serpetine belt that's slipping
  3. You might just need to give it a good run to get the temps up then check. The VR can run quite wet at times i've been told.
  4. Not cheap thou. http://www.extremeautoaccessories.co.uk/products.php?section=1147
  5. What do you mean by functioning mate? Sanky' date=' where did you get them from and do they have anymore? ;-) [/quote'] I've been looking on the US and German website's for these, which they still advertise on there website.Emailed them for price which they send me, So when i ask how to make payment and how long will it take for them to arrive, i get "Oh they no longer stocked". I got this set from a guy on the E38 forum in Leeds, not cheap, but well worth it. Theres UK website that still lists them i'll try and dig out for you, didn't bother contacting them
  6. Theres a lot of marring on that paint, looks like you've been appling to much wax and not buffing it off enough. (sorry i'm just OCD) But the car is looking nice.
  7. Hi and wellcome to the forum. Theres plenty of thread's about which exhaust and fillters to get, just try doing a search to see what answers you get. The Highline part of a VR6 is purley cosmetics. Good luck with the searches and keepb us updated withthe progress.

  10. Try having a word with guy called mattwelcer he's ushally on E38 or Phatdubs Forum. I'm sure he can get you the genuine VW stuff from Germany. A top bloke for helping out fellow dubbers, he used come on here before but i can't remember his user name.
  11. Did you buy them off ebay? They might be the anni ones, just check on the inside when you get them it should be stamped on.
  12. They probably off the MK4 golf because of the tyre size fitted to them.So think they will be 6 or 6 1/2J as the MK3 annies were 7 or 71/2J. Nice wheels thou and look in good condition, just a pain to keep clean.
  13. Might be the HT leads, Try looking under the bonnet on night when it's missing to see if you can see any arcing around the HT leads, and maybe try to spary bit of water in spray bottle on the lead ends to help it arc a bit more.
  14. It's quiet normal. Mine sometimes even mists the rear screen up in morning.
  15. I've asked VR6Rich for this but just thought I'll ask in anyone has any pictures. I bought some R32 look In-Pro's from ebay but I'm not sure if they are the LHD or RHD the seller did say they were RHD but I just want to make sure. I need a picture of the back of the light with bulb taken out in the projection side to see which way the deflector is pointing. I could fit them on the car to see which way the shine, but I wanted to open them to do a few mod's first. They do look like they can be changed from LHD to RHD as I can see the markings on the plate. [lightbox=../../e107_files/public/11745
  16. Or £25 each for the weekend if you buy in advance. http://www.gtiinternational.co.uk/
  17. It's not always the comfort, sometimes it's just how rare these are parts are to see at shows. But I do undersatnd about the grip, and it is a lot harder on the hands
  18. You do get some wierd looks from people when you acknowledge there cars. I'm always flashing my lights at fellow VR owners where ever i see them, just in hope that it might be a member from this club.
  19. Antera, Have you seen my post on E38 about going from LHD to RHD, I do think that it is possible. I have also emailed In-Pro so will see what the come back with.
  20. Thanks Rich got the mats from the local dealers today. Well happy with them and the price was a bargin.
  21. Sound like the water pump to me. Have a look at this picture to tell which pulley it is.
  22. I assume you mean Bansul-tuning. Yes it's the one with metal part, if use babel fish you can translate the page to english. Simple purchase off ebay, as i said in my previous post.
