    I bought my vag com lead from ebay posted from US, Then just downloaded the software from Ross tech, works fine. Maybe you should post the sellers details on here just to make sure, or try doing a search on this forum as the subject has been covered before.

    It's aluminum rocker cover from a corrado, usually come up on ebay. I've also seen polished ones for £70 on eaby

    I had this problem on my GTI but it had also worn away the fabric, so there was a hole there. I got a quote for £40 for a new bolster and a new piece of fabric. So it might be good idea to get quote for a repair first to save you all the hassle.

    Can't see it on the website but i just had a quick glance, just ring them and ask them if they do an auxiliary water pump for your car. You can also try GSF, it there's one in your area.

    Have you tried running the LED test with lead plugged into the car, you should be able to hear the opto's clicking. Does sound like the lead''s faulty as its saying the interface is not found.

    I think you might have to turn the Baud rate down for the com port. I had this problem trying to scan a Mk4 Golf with the same laptop i use for mine. Turned it down to 9600 and it was fine. I think the baud rate for the Mk3 was 32000, I'll need to confirm this when i get home form work.

    Try this fix for the broken plastic clip thing. http://www.pocketrocket.ca/mk3_window_regulator.html Worked a treat on mine and dead easy to do.
