  1. No got it back in march, it's just this simplyvr6 guy bring up old posts for some reason. Deffinatley going to try and come this weekend and would love to go for rip in your vr.
  2. Try Venommotorsport. Just make sure they have it in stock when you order. I think vr6Gaz got his from there quite quick
  3. You can put my name down Pete
  4. No mate i wont be going this year, as i've got load of work to do on the car and the house.
  5. Not sure i just got box of assorted grommets from halfords for about £2.30. i think there was only 2 that were the right size, I'm gone have a go at spraying one so it's colour coded. If it looks good i'll send you the spare one if you want.
  6. So What do you think. Picture was taken first thing this morning [lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1175775472_611_FT167733_no_wiper.jpg][/lightbox]
  7. Its only the OBD 1 engines that has bolt that you need to fill with oil first and the fit.
  8. What was it then? As it may help other users out.
  9. Did the garage fit the speed sensors on the new disc it's cog type thing that would have been attached to the old discs. Have you still got your old discs as they maybe still attached on there.
  10. This my old bolt which i changed before i had the chains done, when you press it in it should spring back smoothly. My old one use to get stuck some times when coming back out. This at it's normal postion. [lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1175756771_611_FT168064_000_0006.jpg][/lightbox] and this where it used to get stuck. [lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1175756830_611_FT168064_000_0005.jpg][/lightbox] But this is what OBD2 bolt looks like on a 1997 VR6 Highline. Are you sure it's chain rattle as at 3000rpm it should go away, the rattle should be around 1200rpm mark
  11. You need to host you pictures on photobucket or simillar website first, then paste the URLs in theposts. or you can become a premium member on here and load them directly to site.
  12. The eabyer dosen't own a shop, i think it was just one off set that he had. The cheapest place i found that had them were GwentVW who were doing them for £160 including the bulbs. Im gone get mine on this weekend to see which way the beam goes and go from there, will report back with the results and picture.
  13. I got mine off ebay and the seller did say that they were RHD versions. I paid £120 but they are brand new. I don't mean to offend but the plate thats in your light looks like it's going to make the beam pattern point more to the right, which i would have thought make them LHD. As a UK light beam pattern should point more to the left. I might be totally wrong Any MOT testers on here to clarify this.
  14. Cheers mate, These are deffinatlet RHD ones right. The hole on you lights look like they've been cut out by hand. LOL
  15. Sorry to disappoint you but the blink codes are for US cars only.
  16. Well the horn works like light switch in the house. Ushally ther will be +12V feeding the horn all the time, and then there will be a Gnd wire going to the switch on the horn switch on the steering wheel on one side and returning the Gnd wire from the steering wheel to the horn. So when you press the horn switch it puts Gnd to the horn to sound it. This could also be the other way round but the same principle i.e. Gnd going to the horn and +12v going to the horn switch. I'll have a look at the wiring diagram when i'm at work tomorrw and let you know if i'm not making any sense to you.
  17. Liking that a lot can't wait to get my grill on now. Just my 2pence worth so please don't take offence but i'm not feeling the chrome surround on the number plate. and it would deffinatley benfit with a deeper front spoiler.
  18. Has the new wheel only got 1 wire coming form it , as you may need to attach another wire from the base of it. It might help if you posted a picture of the back of the new wheel
  19. I never use the rear wiper, as like to have a totaly dirty car or a totaly clean. Just the way i am about these things. Will pop to down to Halfordf to have a look, Will post the size when i find out Rich if you want. Rich. Have had a chance to get us picture of inside the In-Pro's yet.
  20. I want to remove my rear wipier arm and want to bung the hole with a grommet type thing. I've seen a few cars at the shows who have done this. Does anyone now where to get the right size grommet from.
