  1. Thanks will pop down this afternoon. Just to let people know the reason i was looking in this area was that i was getting poor mpg then i ushally get on the way to work. But with temp. fix i used, the mpg on the work trip was back to normal.
  2. Very nice Sal, but how come all you guys can get the center cap on the rear wheels to sit so flush. It's not fair
  3. Cheers mate for putting my mind at ease and the quick response, yeah its just that small piece of hose. Thought i was going to have to get the bus to work in the morning. I wonder how much that is going to cost me?
  4. Looking good there what about the engine bay shots. PS how did you get the center caps on the rear wheels to sit so flush. Mine are sticking out about 4mm

Its the hose that comes off the silver circle thing on the fuel rail, I think its the fuel pressure regulator.To late for Halfords now as it will be closed, could try a petrol station to see what they have. I think i might have damaged the hose slightly when i took the manifold off for polishing. As i just pulled it off with clips on.
  6. The hose from my FPR to the inlet manifold has split at the end So i cut it down a little to get rid of the damaged area but i couldn't get the clips off the hose. I've put a couple of cable ties to hold it as tight as i can until i can get a new piece of hose from the dealers. Is this going to be safe to drive like this, there isn't going to be a load of fuel coming out here is it.
  7. It's a H6W bulb bit of pain to get to. But if your going to be opening them up to do any other mods it would be a peice of piss. The only reason i know is that i've taken mine apart to take the orange filttes out, and also to change them to RHD versions. I aslo wanted to the angel eye bulb to something a lot brighter, but not sure what to go for at the momment.
  8. I think C&R enterprises is in your neck of the woods. Seem to across quite good in the Golf+ magzine. or just take frive upto stealth racing, heard nothing but good stories about these guys.

  11. Covers were from ebay, ill post details of the seller if you want. As for the inners , if you could get them up north i know of place that would sort them out for you no problem.
  12. I guess this a picture of your rear wheel, how did you manage to get the centre cap to sit so flush, i've tried flatten the bearing cap, but then it wouldn't go on :-(

  15. I'm at home most weekend ushally polishing the car.LOL You can also pop up on evening if you like.
  16. Yeah i would check the bulb and the wiring to the bulb first.
  17. If you want to drive up to Bradford i'll be more then happy to put it on the Vagcom for you. On another note, have you had the arches rolled at the place in Bradford and did they do a good job and would you recommend them.
