  1. Hello mate, Congratulations!
  2. Very similar to Justins (Binliner) new one, same Interior, same Synchro 4 wheel drive, same colour, although Justins has a charger, bodyworks nicer and it doesn't have them awful RH wheels on it! ;o)
  3. LOl, and there's loads more peeps I know that own VR's that you've not listed there that live in Wycombe, hence why you've seen me over there paying a visit!
  4. Looks good Nick, very "motorsport" me thinks.
  5. Looks nice mate, loving them seats!
  6. Was a great meet, almost like a mini VR6oc meet to be honest!
  7. For the lead remaoval I've got the Snop-On/Hazet tool. For removing the actual Spark Plugs themselves I have a 3/8's drive socket with various extension bars. I have a Snap-on one which has a rounded connector which enables it to be a lot more flexible! (Also handy to use some insulation tape to secure it all together save the socket becoming disconnected from the extension bar, as some of the cheaper stuff doesn''t hold together so well)
  8. To be honest I don;t think there much if anything in it, in fact I can;t remember ever losing a race to a Rado? But again there's so many factors in it. Very rare to find a standard Golf or Rado nowadays!
  9. Piper Cross do one of these, Dalj. I think Justin used to use one on his old highline. Thing is I'm sure these end up leaving an oily deposit on the engine, which after all that buffing might not be such a good idea!
  10. No thats the wrong way around for the lights thing if I remember correctly? Light should be off, till you put the car lights on.
  11. Same thing happened to me, its a real B*stard of a job to get undone without! Especially if you have an aftermarket grille and an anti bonnet pop catch as I have! Ps. Make sure you refit the bulk head bung correctly or you'll end up with a soaked drivers side footwell like I did, as the bung slipped off and worked loose!
  12. Tommy, my cars date with the man with the spray gun has now been put back, so it may still be in the bodyshop. Will let you know nearer the time, but if the cars about then It'll definately be there!
  13. Sorry Matt, but after the wet and crap from last year there's no way I'm risking the camping, especially if I'm there for 2 nights! Plus Ipswich is a right laugh if you have a few beers on the town!
  14. Looks a minter, been debating about the chrome strip myself as saw a lovely Vento in Belgium with the same thing on it, and liked it in the flesh.
  15. I've tried a few and rate the Ram Air for sound/performance, and the Stroeve for looks/sound
  16. They should have a fuse or relay Pete, will try and see which one it is in the Bently manual, although I think it may just have LHD stuff in the manual, so Fuse/Relay box maybe different? Pop over as in all night if your stuck! [ Edited Thu Mar 17 2005, 03:20PM ]
  17. I'm going both days, but will be in a hotel as per usual, so a few of us can attack the clubs and pubs in town!
  18. I've only known Colour Concepts to come fitted with the left foot rest in them as standard mate! I fitted one to mine, but had to order it form VW and retro fit it.
  19. C and R do them and rate them very highly, not known anyone who's had them on there car so can't give you any feedback on them.
  20. bugger I just joined the other month!
  21. Have you got the part number for the mulberry ones, as my dealers not being too helpful finding them!
  22. I think it was a combination of usable power, good grip, ideal conditions, lots of practice, and most importantly LUCK!
  23. 14.3 is my best at the pod, standard road tyres (Toyo's) on my 17's, keep meaning to take some 15's with me but then thats not a fair test of what its like on the road!
