Price would depend on what products you were using... if I was going to pay someone to do my car the sort of money that's been mentioned for a pro job (ie £150+) I'd expect them to be using a machine polisher with products to match. If you're using decent polishes and a quality carnuba wax etc it's worth paying for but I can't see people wanting to pay a lot if you're using products they can buy in Halfords (despite what the above post says, most megs waxes don't last 5 minutes!)

I'm getting a droning/whirring type noise that gets louder the faster I go (it's not too noticeable under 70mph but gets a lot louder by 80mph) I'm presuming it's a wheel bearing but can't tell where it's coming from exactly... How do I check which wheel? Is it just a case of jacking up each corner and wiggling the wheel top to bottom? Is there anything else that could cause that sort of noise? cheers

Ah yeah my kit was an aquamist one... I think there's quite a bit of room under the battery tray
-
I used the existing washer jet bottle for the reservoir and stuck the pump down by the battery tray

What he said Although I don't think you need to leave it that long, if you open the bonnet you'll hear it making noises, when it stops it's done

Proper name of these speedline wheels...

They're pretty much the same size and offset as standard VR6 wheels so will be fine (apart from being too skinny and tucked for the arches!) -
he was answering someone else who posted a bit further up... as has been said 205/40/17 wll be fine

forget all the gay colour combos...matt black centres, matt black lip, polished bolts... no patience required, not much cleaning and will suit the car
