  1. Very nice mate, Rh's suit the Mk3 so well!
  2. Nice wheels Pete, there rare as rocking horse Sh*t! God only knows where you found them! ;o)
  3. 1 or 2 for me, and to be honest as long as it all the profit goes to the club running etc... I'd be happy to pay up to a tenner!
  4. Don't think the outer surround comes off on the Sony ones. Look at it closely and you'll see 2 small slots that you need to slide a thin bit of metal into to release the unit from the cage. Think one is to the side and the other near the top. [ Edited Sat Apr 30 2005, 04:35PM ]
  5. Looking great Pete, how did you get that shrick to sparkle like that!
  6. That was some hill!!! Bump-bloody-nightmare........nearly took the sump off I thik we all well and truly left our mark on them bumps! I blame Tommys talking route thingy!, I'm gonna use it to bung up the near hole in my sump, lol!
  7. Had a great day, really good new show for the calender! Despite being bleary eyed from work! Good to catch up with you guys and the convoys are more fun than the shows half the time!
  8. Nice one Mark, can't wait to see/hear it in full flight tomorrow!
  9. Hows the JL sound in there, thats what I've been recommended by my local audio place (they are a JL dealership though!)
  10. Nice one James keep up the good work!
  11. I've just bought one mate, but no idea how to keep it up on the side panel as of yet! What sub you running in yours?
  12. Having now picked them up, must say they are a lovely 2 piece wheel, with an absoloutely mint polished outer lip, they'll be a great finishing touch to you already lovely VR Claire! Was gonna post a pic, but I'll leave all the glory to you Claire!
  13. Have fitted mine now (2 mins job!) and I must say I CAN tell the difference, despite the car not being remapped to suit! Throttle response seems to be a lot more responsive (revs more freely). So I'm happy with the results, now just need to get Vince to map it!
  14. I've always had mine silver, just a bugger keeping them that way!
  15. Spoke to the VR God, that is Vince at Stealth, and he's said on an OBD2 car, its not a problem as the Lamda sensor can adjust to it! You may get it squirting a little bit of fuel in too much on full throttle, but not a drastic amount, plus with my mods he recons I may actually get a better throttle response. WOOHOO! Ps. Part Number for a 4 bar regulator from VW : 078133534C at about £55
  16. Yeh I know its an easy job, just don't want to add it and bugger all the fueling up! Did you have one on Betty, or just on the Synchro?
  17. Hi there guys, I have just aquired a brand new 4 bar fuel pressure regulator (as opposed to the 3 Bar standard one) for my OBD2 VR Highline. I've been led to believe you can just swop these over and will get a very slight improvement on throttle response (especially when running high density air filter and shrick! as I am) Has anyone had any experience of fitting these? Can I do it without chipping the ECU? Thanks in advance. Simon.
  18. Jay if your going on Sunday to the show I'll bring my metal one up with me, your more than welcome to use it up there!

    Wax

I have the Zymol starter kit (was about £100 I think) But worth every penny as so easy to use and car really gleams. But the Zymol cleaner wax is a great budget alternative!
