  1. Well when I bought mine I had no idea there was a difference and from what I've heard on a day to day basis there is little difference if any? What did it drive like? Did it feel as quick/smooth etc...?
  2. I know the ISV's can be a little problematic, and often require a good clean out with an alcohol based cleaner or similar. My only concern would be why it was changed at all? VW wouldn't have changed it unless they needed to improve on it?
  3. I was almost positive that all Highlines where OBD2, but been wrong before and no doubt I will be again! From what I've read off of the forums Justin, the main advantage of the OBD2 is a better diagnostic plug in port, and possibly more durable timing chain parts?
  4. Nice one Paul, keep up the good work! And Happy New Year to ya too!
  5. From what I can find out mate it appears to definately have them.
  6. Nah mate, staying local in Windsor, as have a few mates who own/run bars there. Plus having to keep my distance from there at the moment

  8. Its a definate ban, but not sure of length if its over 100mph on the M'way. Think it depends on fine and circumstances etc....
  9. It is 5 stud though, so it may have a little bit of go, but god damn thats one ugly mother fecker!
  10. I shall be mainly drinking! Especially as not got to work New Years day this year (first time in 10 years!)Touring a few of the local clubs, not really fussed which one I stay in as I'm planning on not being able to remember anyway! As long as I'm with my friends thats all that matters!
  11. Rolling shots ROCK! Motor looks sweet as in that light mate, look forward to seeing it in the flesh at the RR day.
  12. Looks very nice mate, make sure you keep the pics updated as the mods commence!
  13. Should look nice mate, have seen quite a few Black Mk2's with dark wheels on them and they look damn TOUGH! In fact I have tinted chrome Brocks on my black Mk2!
  14. 68k as of yesterday. Got it when it had done 1,300 miles!
  15. Looks schweet as Pete, maybe could do with being a bit lower though to get that whole PHAT stance thing going on!
  16. On the right car I actually think the LED ones could work quite well. And nice and diferent too!
  17. This happened to me too, I posted ages ago about it, have re-welded it all back up myself. I'd recommend this to anyone that hasn't done it yet, TAKE OFF YOUR CLUTCH PEDAL AND WELD IT NOW!
  18. Make sure the Police dont catch you' date=' incorrectly spaced number plates are illegal & will not pass an MOT. I hate the idiots who use black screws and incorrect spacing to make it look like something its not. [/quote'] DOH!
  19. Could be a bargain fixer upper though if stays cheap enough.
  20. Bugger Me! Hope you and all involved are ok Justin. Can't believe it even after seeing the pics! If you need any bits to sort repair (praying its repairable?) PM me.
  21. I used the SSK kit for a while and everyone kept harping on about the Eibach and H & R combo's so thought I'd try it myself. Can honestly say the original ones in the SSK kit rode best, and where lower too! But to be honest your better of saving your beans a bit more and getting yourself adjustable coilovers, best money I've ever spent on my car (just wished I'd done that first instead of buying loads of spring and Shocks kits!)
