Yea you can keep standard internals, but fit a metal layer gasket and space plate to lower compression. Turbo choice is mainly down to you and the power/delivery you want. Gt35 is best suited to a vr, but go smaller an you'll have quicker spool but lower top end boost as it will choke.
Yeah you'll be fine, we've not booked with the site, didn't book last year either. what time you getting there for? We're hoping to be there for 10 ish.
The only difference in your list is the syncro has a 2.9l abv engine (the same as used in the corrado's), were as the rest use the 2.8l aaa engine. No sound clip? But to get a standard vr to sound sweet, you'll need a de-cat, st/st exhaust an a performance air filter.
Could you not use any other mounting points on the gearbox? Or use any bolts in the end of the casing? Either will need the bracket modding, but that must be easier than changing gearbox casings!
Have you read the book I lent you? I'd only think about balancing if you were ringing the neck out of your car all the time, with a lot higher rev limit. For what it will cost, your better spending the money else where.
To true, I thought the same. Being on sky will, like you, avoid the f1. Unless I can find a friendly mate to let me watch it! But then it still won't be the same coverage as the BBC, which I find better than when itv covered it.
