    Have you tried what I said? You could also try just deleting the extra fpr and just using the standard vr fpr.

    Yeah, it was in a mk3 golf running haldex 4wd, but i'm now building (when i can!) it all into a mk1 golf.

    The nipple coming out of the side of the wastgate is the lower port, the upper port is the 1 in the end. A picture would help identify which w/gate you have. Basically, the spring inside the w.gate will be rated to a pressure at which it allows the gate to open. So a 7psi spring will give you around 7psi of boost pressure. If you don't run a boost controller, then the spring will control the boost for you, as long as its not too higher rated!     The rear caliper piston won't just push back in, it requires a caliper re-wind tool as the work on a rachet. Might be worth upgrading to mk4 rears as they are less prone to seizing.

    Had a brilliant weekend, thanks to everyone. Stig has 1 hell of a weapon of a car, thats only going to get quicker, and its bloody quick now! Well done to those that entered the s&s, all top cars owned by great people. Got a few pics on my camera, and a couple of vids, i'l upload them after work.
