  3. Jim just out of intrest are u still drivin the car inbetween doin the work? 6psi on a VR and its still fully rapid... Problem is they would be SO much faster if they could put the power down. At 6psi his still spinnin both wheels in 1st 2nd and 3rd
  4. Theres a little c clip gearstick end that can cause the same thing which fall off quite offen.. But if your sure the plays at the gearbox then its not going to be that... Just somthink else to check
  5. Is it metal on metal with no pad left? My abs light came on because of the iron fileing stuck to the sencer (magnetic) Went off after I cleaned them up and changed the pads so you could be lucky

  8. When I get to a curtain speed (quite fast) my drivers door starts vibrating and letting air though the front edge (like when you got the window alittle bit open). If I hold it closed then it stops lol My last mk3 did the same.. Anyone elses? and is there a cure

  10. ummm so the anser is yes I guess... Think im going to get a realy big one and then adjust boost to suit lol Ive got an old wiper jet pump and tank. You think it would be a good idea to set it up so it sprays water over the intercooler? Cheep as chips and would kindof work like a charge cooler in a way

  12. have u checked all your boost pipes for leaks? Also is it possible for the waste gate to get stuck open?
  13. oh you def dont need to change the fan motor.. id take it back mate
  14. if you take your lower dash off on the left hand side theres a little box about 1" by 2".. Its the resisters for the blower motor. Change this job done If you need photos tell me but have a little look first Hope this helps
  15. Its more tight than all the smaller block mk3s but not that much hard to do.. I think if its bad enuff to drip and you wanna play it safe it be better to get it done but its upto you
  16. Just thinking again lol. If your using a FMI on a forsed induction VR is there a perfix size for you boost pressure or is it a bigger is better thing?
  17. Kev u there fella lol. Whats the score with running this in a VR? Do we need to change components to make suitable? And does it end up cheeper to run on E85 or do you just use it for the added power?
  18. I agree 155 is very good. Mine wont go past 140 at about 5k but its on 17s... So is that a rev limiter holding me to 5k in 5th? Can I remove this?
  19. Did you get the camber dones aswell?. All cars pull to the left due to the camber of the road. Find a flat surface to test it
  20. Hard to say if theres quite abit of millage on it as coolant hoses can fail after time.. Its very possible they could have damaged it doing the work but hard to prove it! Ask to have a look at the old one then try blaming them for the damage and ask them what there going to do about it, Worth a try but to be honist you don't have a leg to stand on and they could just tell you where to go Good luck
