    £300 for a mint one.. you've done better than me lol. All the running gear from my VR should be on mine tomoro... engine will go in in a few months.. Dude could you help me out a sec as you will probaly no this. Im coming to put the front anit roll bar on my subframe but didn't note which way up it went lol Could u take a pic of where it goes on your wishbone or just tell me if it kinks up or down towards the the floor where it bolts to the wishbone. Would alot of help as i can't think how else im going to find out lol

    Right like a total cock ive removed my front anit roll bar to paint / change bushs but I didn't note which way up it goes.. Can somone tell me if it kinks up or down towards the ground where it bolts onto the wishbone as I have no way of finding out apart from you guys or searching the streets for another VR to look at lol

    surly a good old compression test will check the state of the rings. If not why do compression tests even exsist?

    I was going to say reshell it but didn't want to upset you lol. I got my mk3 driver for £700 and im in the process of reshelling as we speak. Altho i would say get a 5 stud as it will save you alot of work

    Looks like somones got a headlight missing to aid cold air feed lol. I always thougth heat soak happend more in traffic and on hot days.. So it could be pointing towards a sensor. If you got a laptop then ebay vag.com its only cheep

    Yep you can get 2 degrees negative on the standard set up. Just take it to a tyre fitters that has a lazer tracking and camber tool and tell them what you want. I got supersports where £300 when i got them lol. There the only coilovers ive driven on and made a massive improvement over the standard surpension. Now u mention it i know what your saying about "bobin" over bumps. They are very bumpy. I just thought thats how hard coilovers are lol oh well So do you think 2 degrees neg will improve handling? Im getting mine set up again soon. might try it tell us how it goes

    You can adjust the camber on any standard Mk3... Whats wrong with the supersports?

    Looking good. Im jellous of your brakes lol. Not to sure on the lights tho... Tbf I dont think ive seen any non standard ventro lights... I think the bonnit eyebrows look good on ventro fronts

    Cheers mike, jk.... We got a little cabby and old skool beetle but they wern't out that day. Wheels on the mk2 are some little 13" mini lites that he had in the garage and the car cost £300... Nice car for little money.. Just trying to make somone buy a mk4 now lol

    nah don't have to remove anythink dude.. Just the plastic ring round the filler hole and then the straps and plug for fuel pump ect then drop the baby out.. Job done
