    sounds like theres somthink else wrong to me. Af far as i know the mainfold your on about should add alittle performance/ no make any difference but shouldn't decrease performace atall

    sounds like your wheel bearing gone to me mate. When you turn and bank the car over abit it puts more strane on the wheel bearing and then become more noisey. Do you find the noise gets worse the faster you drive and after youve been driving for a while

    theres another bolt under the wing on the same a frame bit of metal the doors are bolted onto if that makes sence. Also theres alot of sealant along the top that you need to crack from under the bonnit. hope that makes sence and this helps

    youve got a reply on E38 geeza.. looks like its a case of removing your charger and using a puller

    you do have to jack the engine up/ undo the engine mount bolts but apart from that you just undo the 3 bolts, pull it out and change it pumps only around £50 so dont give up its not that bad. might be a day of messing about with it but it not the end of the world

    in what way has the headgasket gone? oil in the water. water in the oil or just a small coolant leak going down the side of the block? Its not the right thing to do but a few bottles of rad leak will stop the leak down the side of the block if its that. and the new owner wont no untill they change the coolant .. had it done to me before lol It seems to good to strip having had a respary ect. have you got the old bonnit lights and rear door cards? Pehaps sell the wheels and surpension and swap for standard sell the headlights, swap for standard, sell fogs, swap for painted black blanks then

    If it was me i think id put a LSD, faster final drive and a standard vw clutch. Maybe disel 5th gear in you want to go FI. Don't think you can get a new box for under a grand but i don't think you need one lol, It realy does sound like your gearlinkage isn't set up properly hence it been hard to find gears, Go to a garage and get them to set it up

    hi sorry fegot about this, u just missed it lol cars don't line up there or stop in the road but theres lots of roling starts and racing going on... There is people showin off aswell, bit of both realy Watch out for the police tho as theres lots of undercover about, Is that your car the green one?

    Never done it but its more than lighty going to be a case of remove the end nut and eather use a hammer to tap it free or at the very worse a 3 finger puller... Theres no way they would design so you have to strip the charger down... Get some balls and go and find out for us :-* lol

    very nice.. wouldn't mind a mint mk2 shell and a nice big unit like that lol... Is staying striped out? Im guessing buy the look of it theres going to be a R32 going into it lol seems to mint for a 12v

    ummm maybe but then you would think the lights and everythink else would stop working and the engine might cut out have you checked all the muitplugs fuse box end? Its not hanging down abit is it? Also my fuse box got wet from a water leak. didn't cause any problems tho but somthink else to check... what have you done so far?
