  1. Really good thread that tells you prity everything you need to no http://the-corrado.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=33931&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=135 In short altho i haven't read it all yet what you need is ,R32 engine, VR throttle body, Custom down pipe and manni (£300 ish some company makes them) and then standalone (when going stand alone THINK you can still use mk3 clocks, can't see why u couldn't anyway, You would just need to rewire the Rev counter and oil pressure, rest is still all VR stuff ) Or you can go mad and fit mk4 clocks, engine looms, FBW throttle key
  2. oh in that case i recon you need a big big turbo lol, I thought we where talking about a 1.8Ts lol, Why don't you turbo your R32? 450-500bhp and you got the 4 wheel drive, should a fair bit quicker i recon
  3. yeah with 4K you can do alot of things to your car tbf mate. R32 engines are around 2k on ebay atm, NOS kits £400, Your best bet is probably to slap a big fuck off turbo on it what engines are in the S4s?
  4. been looking at R32s on ebay now lol.. same price as banging a turbo on the VR, Im always changing my mind lol
  5. Sounds more like piston ring to me fella Stems and guides normally cause blue smoke on start up after its been parked up over night, and also when deceleration
  6. Due to the silly cheep prices of VR engine and boxs im thinking about getting the grinder out Does anyone know what there like round the bends? Cheers
  7. i do mine at 33psi all round but different side tyres
  8. yeah thats the feeling you get, Mine only does it if your pulling off grass/ mud, Guessing im to hard on the accelerator when on tarmac going past 30 as ingham said It really is poor effort for tc tho, Never once does it provide traction or help with pulling off Just makes you think theres somthink wrong with it lol You can get proper traction control for £600 which works well
  9. cleaver stuff.... as long as he doesn't drive it in the wet. would be piss easy to hydrolic his engine with the intake so close to the ground
  10. pops and VR6will how many miles have you been running your manifolds for?
  11. nope but i like the sound of it, Is it N/A or turbo?
  12. Its the wastegate pipe.... Can just see the manni and it isn't nearly as red What causes high EGT anyway? Running lean? I think imo its totally blatant that kev brought two miss casts that didn't pass quality control due to thin walls, poor port matching and uneven flanges, Hence why SPA ground there name of before scraping them I think id be write in saying that many more of the same manifolds where sold buy the same person to people owning VRTs hence why kev ISN'T THE ONLY ONE that's had one fail hopefully your SPA manifolds sourced direct from spa will be much more reliable?????
  13. brilliant product... lightly to put the likes of stealth out of business
  14. Personally i don't think there worth enough to sell atm, Id rather get a nice daily aswell as and keep my VR in a garage as my fast project toy always making it faster "old VWs don't die, they just get faster"

Think his more going for pure N/A high redline... Some people on vortex run 276s upto 288s.... Don't think they go much past that tbf http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3531911 Little info on 276s and links to info on 288s http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2904536
  16. 5*100.... yeah 9 j is 9 wide all round def a good buy with new tyres, just make sure there not bucked or cracked as that is cheep
  17. Its your cat, normaly goes away when its warm
  18. Well said kev! I sent Kinetic motorsport an email about there manifold on a RHD VR6 and they sent this back! I wonder if he means he will sell me a kinetic manifold at a reduced price for testing, also for abit of advertising Kev would you be interested in giving this ago as you need a new manifold and im STILL currently not far enough along to take this offer up Im going to get back to him and see what kind of price he can offer Tom I have sold 4 to 5 vr6 kits in to the UK I believe the manifold fits I would be will to sell one for testing Let me know Shawn vanNeer Kinetic Moto
  19. do you have to use these? Thought they did the same thing as a waste gate? Is it just a better way of regulating the pressure? To put it simply do the BOV connect to the intercooler pipe work and just open up when you reach say 10psi?
