    Take it back to them and say OI WTF sort my door... should be easy to sort tho, slack the two bolts to the part of the lock thats bolted to the rear qwarter and more it in 5mm

    you got it prity much stop on fella, Personally id undo the 3 13mm that hold the ball joint in the wishbone and leave the ball joint attached to the hub knuckle, Its alot easier that way, Its the N/S rear one that needs the engine lifting, Al tho it doesn't need to be lifted a lot

    fK wheel spacers are also rubbish, Don't fit over the hub properly and leaves about a 4mm gap between the spacer and the face of the hub :@ Im having to fit cheep crappy 6mm halfords spacer, then fk spacer ontop of that haha doesn't sound safe does it but the hub centric bit still fits inside the space so should be ok

    Even people that don't like cars still enjoy watching top gear, Its funny and generally interesting and just seems to work so much better

    Donno if its different for OBD1 but my OBD2 didn't have one, Or anywhere to mount it on the rear axal. If you think about it theres no need for a load sensing valve if you have ABS, 3 up in the back, wheel locks ABS senses this and then the abs pump controls the amount pressure need to the back, Pull the fuse and there's nothing regulating pressure to the back, If yours is OBD2 then the back WILL lock first To do it properly you can use your current VR master cylinder and use to T pieces to run diagonal split braking, Ie one out let gets split in the engine bay to run N/S/R and O/S/F...

    If your pulling fuse because you don't like ABS your back ends going to lock all the time before the fronts

    Pure dirty car tho, Love the cavalier 4 by 4 turbos, Dude at work has a 6 speed one, Its full of thing i wouldn't think they had even invented when it was built

    strange as the rubber is never really on the glass as you know, Rubbers in the door and the glass slides in it, Would be very surprised if you can't buy them separate, You can for the mk1 on there own but they anit cheep, Nearly £100 each iirc Sure the person that told you this know what there doing as it doesn't sound right to me atall, Try ringing a different dealer

    lol It does get cheaper dude, All declared on my 8v its £1100 im 22 3ync 6points, Don't even want to imagine what they will want once i get round to dropping the VR in.... Do you think Adrian Flux s the best people to talk to in my situation?

    filler on the front of the box about half way up, Its a big 17mm allen key thingy, Your going to find it hard to get this out tbf, Its also a oil level, On level ground fill till it starts to dribble out of the hole, so fill when its in, Personally id fit the cut with the box out, Id put what VW recommend as far a oil, You do need to reseal the shift tower, I use a black silicon the vaxhall sell for sealing sumps (free from work) sure vw sell the same stuff Alex thats the word i was looking for, preload :S thats the only bit im scared of as ive never done it before, How do you set thi

    you should be alright, Set of Allen key sockets 7 or 8mm can't remember. 13mm spanner, 15mm or 17mm spanner, Big screwdriver, Bracker bar is nice, Impact screw driver is nice for screw that holds disc on but you can just drill it out, not really needed, copper grease, jack and Axel stand

    Alex what is the FSI? Guessing its a new type of injector and pump but how does it work and what its the advantages
