    my timing chains have started to rattle and Star performance reccomend that it's most likely a hyd tesioner failure so going to try this first. so how do i go about it? do i need a new bolt to hold it in?? any other tips??

    to suck up enough water to matter the end of the cold air feed would need to be completly under water don't worry mate

    i know for a fact it's not the pump so il explain at low speed 10mph< when i turn it sounds like rubber on rubber (not tyres eigther) not realy loud and the steering feels fine any ideas??

    i have goodyear eagle F1's on my car 205/40/ 17 and my rims are 7.5 wide look fine and are awesome tyres

    i have one fitted easy to fit just a like for like swap takes about half an hour. it reduced the throw length of the gear stick by at least 50% and it makes the change feel far more sure has to to be the best mod i ever fitted to my golf

    i was kindly informed by my local police force last night that i have a tail light out so i changed the bulb and it still did not work so i tested the bulb by swapping it with the other side and it seems to be a fault with the actaul bulb holder any ideas people??

    mine does this to weird. i find it clears if play with the hanbrake lever think it's the switch under the actual handbrake lever cos iv checked the float sensor in the resevoir cap

    my mate has an 8 fq340 with a decat induction kit and re-map and he slayed me like you would not believe was like me racing a 1.1 fiesta and he gets more miles to a tank although his insurance is £3800

    one of my mates recently bought an evo 7 and yes it's in a different league he gets 150 miles tops to £45 when hammering it it cost 4 times what my car cost his insurace is 4 times what mine is and recently bought new disks and pads for the front only and it cost £450 plus fitting so no comparison

    peak torque on mine is like 4500 i cange just after 5 to drop to peak torque seems to work for me with 15.1

    it's your synchromesh mate mine does it from first to second and 2nd to third. eigther gearbox rebuid a replacment box. but first try replacing gearbox oil with better stuff. best idea in the meantime if u have to change when giving it some just delay the change driefly and it wont crunch

    fcuk u tellin me that when i got told on my mot that their was play in my rear wheel bearings and to be safe i got 2 fitted and the chances were that their was nowt wrong with them. plus now iv had them fitted they make a funny noise is that because their to tight??

    thought u would have had bigger gains with those mods i made 197bhp and 183 lb/ft torque with just a full stainless exhaust and a BMC

    had a race with my mates sister in a RR proved 265 bhp and i wipped it cos some people can't drive.

    i will have second car soon and the vr is getting a cage stripped out and thrown round knockhill. it will prob be an impreza P1 or an evo 8 not sure which yet although to of my mates now have evo's and i like to be diffrent so..............????????

    u putting in any sort of flexy pipe??? yet to fit mine but i need a converter so it has the three bolts at the bottom to fit!! u wrapped yours???
