  1. recently bought a 97 golf vr6. recieved the car with normal lights and was given a box which contained a twin headlight conversion for the car. only problem being one of the plastic surrounds is broken. the previous owner claims volkswagen offered twin headlights as an optional extra from the factory is this correct and where can i get a new bit surround if possible??
  2. rung raceland out of stock at the moment but more in at the end of the month
  3. where would i get spacers and would it mean buying new wheel nuts?? anything else i need to do?? would i get away with lowering slightly aswee with the offset and 17's??
  4. been offered a set of 17x205x240 and also want to lower the car. wondering will the wheels rub?? and if so will an offset help? and how much of an offset and how will fitting 17's and lowering the car affect handling? what are the bestlowering springs i can buy as i can't afford a set of coilovers.

  6. strange never thought the layout of the car other the steering wheel/column clutch brake accelerator and dash. did not think this would effect the fitting of an exhaust manifold unless it intrudes into the line of the steering column in some way????? race land never heard of it? anyone heard any feedback about them??

  10. decided to go down the the proven route with the best name money being no option. so plan to fit full supersprint exhaust and maifold. big hawge ram air induction kit and get her re-mapped what sort of power should she be producing then?? also plan to fit coilovers and strut braces at the same time. and possibly fit 17's. and styling wise a vented wing, a nice grill and change the headlight in some way
  11. well looks like it would have to be a supersprint then what sort of gains would i expect?
  12. considering buying a VR very shortly and planning to spend about £1500 on mods. being suspension induction and exhaust. just want to know if i buy a manifold which works most effectivly performance wise and is not £600 like the super sprint 1? and also i wish to keep the cat on the car as the hassle of de-catting and re-catting for mot's is to much hassle!

  14. so basically unless i come up with some sort of mod so i can refit the cat for the mot im going to have to refit the standard exhaust and manifold 4 the mot or find a friendly mot tester
  15. just wondering how easy this is to fit? anything need to be removed to get old off? also any problems i may get? also is it worth while power wise de-catting? i am aware i will need it 4 the MOT though

  17. well BMC it is then. mate has one on a clio cup and managed to hit the limiter in 5th the day he put it on! speedo reading about *52.

  21. basically the loudest one that can be bought? also what exhaust to fit and is it worth de-catting the car? also considering 6-2-1 manifold how much and where from? what gains would be expected from and induction kit decat exhaust with 6-2-1 manifold?
