    was the pedal easy enough to remove and get the wee plate welded back on??? may get mine done as i don't trust my jubilee clip and pin to stop it moving!!

    turn it up to full and set it off and u will understand why iv mine turned down. and does ur ignition key not open the glove box??

    yes a 2.1 litre corsa from dundee is what it is running throttle boddies etc over 210bhp and no weight bar the chump with the hat!!!

    i had to get VW direct to take my car in to get them to program a key to the cars alarm u asked them?? the key has a chip which is recognised through the ignition barrel does the car turn over and start briefly before cutting out??

    yes mate it can u not get a wee key with a black plastic cover when u got the car?? the key hole is under a cover on top of the alarm on the back left hand side of ur engine bay. ps mine is turned down low as i set it off all the time

    i did this a while ago aswell mine was sorted using a jubilee clip works fine!!!

    been looking at fibre glass front ends and maybe a vauxhall redtop as the guy down the road from me has a 212bhp mini seen him rip a DB9 and well he made me look stupid aswell stragely. my mate is making a new hood for me aswell just have to choose the colour of leather!!!

    since owning my vr and getting used to the power and now driving more carefully iv discovered that my MPG just got lower all the time. today i discovered a broken wire leading to the plug which goes onto the MAF sensor. any ideas where i can get a new wire and where is the next point on the line i can plug it into??? cost also??? or i could just dodgy it up??? would this explain my low MPG???

    well an update to this just discovered one of the wires to the MAF is broken may explain my 200miles or less to a tank

    left hand side of engine as u are looking at the car on the left hand side off rocker cover behind two pipes

    just take out that the dummy sensor thing then connect it straight from the inlet to the diaphragm thing??
