    im quite suprised it's rubbing as i have just fitted a set of coilovers and the rears are as low as they go and never scrubbed as yet even with people in the car. U had the geometry done since u had them fitted??

    I have recently done all the bushes on my car replacing them with PolyBushes. problem is after doing all this their is still a clunk from what seems to be the wishbone. My mate seems to thing that inside the poly bush metal tube their should be a metal sheeth. I never noticed it on the old wishbone bush before it was removed. So is my mate correct or speaking pish??

    they are FK highsports yes mate the ride is far softer than my previous koni shocks and g-max springs combo. It was also alot softer when i lowered the car on the coilovers cos the springs are less compacted and have a bit more give

    i bought one and never fitted it. I hope u have heat wrapped it????

    haynes manual for the GTI is always good for most of the mech stuff as most of the kit is the same and they don't make a haynes manual for the VR

    no just use the gaskets mate hope all those exhausts bolts come out in one piece

    try re-setting your ecu by dissconnecting the battery for 10 mins. Although from what i can remember it should adjust itself while running

    my old MK2 i got for 1k full leather electric recaros coilovers and split rims with 90 k on the clock. did 10k in it balded all the tyres and the MOT ran out and i sold it for 1800 lol Also my current VR6 with 69k and plenty mods was only 700 although their is more to it than that

    i saw that aswell it was actually my girlfriend who said is that a VR6 and to my amazement it was. I would have got away

    easy way to check wishbones is to try moving the wheel backwards and forwards or even better jack it up and do the same

    Well had my VR6 for about 2 years it has slowly declined in handling and braking quality and i had a hole in the exhaust so first i purchased this the konis i had on the car have always been to stiff so i purchased a set of these The Koni's i took of are for sale in the sale section they need a good clean Here is a pic of the rear coilovers fitted The disks were also a bit warped so these bad boys were fitted along with a set of green stuff pads also purchased a set of braided hoses although the front ones do not seem long enough Seeing as i had gone that far i fitted a set of powerflex

    their was 6 bits in it mate is that right?? my mate fitting them just seems to think their to short for the front?? iv not realy looked will have a look tonight

    sounds like your wishbone bushes mate or strut top bush.

    oredered some from venom and the back ones are fine but the fron ones are far to short. anybody else had a similar problem??
