  1. Maybe the mice had an extra weetabix that day but I've got the graph & I'll post it when I've scanned it in
  2. All modern cars have chips though - I dont know if mines been chipped or not but to be running 214bhp I would guess it has but i dont know for sure & Im not taking the car apart to look!
  3. Thats why I sold mine cos it didnt make as much noise! :0)

    Mpg

A highline engine is no different to any other OBD2 engine (unless its 1 of the cross over Highlines on an N plate etc) Mines an 2.8 OBD2 - engine mods are air filter, exhaust, chip, de-cat but I think you'll find that even with the mods its not far off standard mpg figures. VR6's arent really made for town driving, more of a cruiser.

    Mpg

mine averages around 23 Mpg - on a Mway I can get 32-33Mpg. Not sure what it'll do on a whole tank - depends on my mood & what roads Im on :0)
  6. I had my Calibra done and that cost me £240 for a glass out job - was a good job too. If their using good film and take the glass out thats a bargain!
  7. If you've got a spare cat - cut the ends off an weld them to the tube with a hole for the lambda - save yourself a bit of cash, thats how mine was made & its been fine.
  8. Thats the nuts Jake - that lump looks massive with the all the extras on it. Be good to see what you get on the rollers :0)
  9. Isnt it going to suck in warm air from the engine bay defeating the object of having one? I thought having the cold air pipe mounted to the front of the car would force cold air in producing more power?
  10. Nerih's is an N reg I think too so to answer your question correctly, no - not all Highlines are OBD2 :0)
  11. Golfs newer than an N reg are usually OBD2 - any engine with a distributor will be OBD1. All VR6 Corrado's are OBD1. The OBD2 engines have slightly more power. I'd go for the Golf but i am biased!
  12. only played it a couple of times at work - gets boring & annoying after a couple of goes
  13. £99! Double what my mate charges! www.caesarcaralarms.co.uk - if you've got any car alarm questions he can help you & maybe save you some money in the process I sound like an ad for Confused.com!!
  14. Ha ha you can get an alarm fitter to check for you and if you have no paperwork they can offer provide you with a Thatcham certificate for the insuance company - costs about £40 though cos they have to check all the wiring and what not. My mate fits Thatcham Cat 1's for about £200 so your looking around that price but depends on what make of alarm you go for etc.
  15. Big p's looks like a model car there for some reason - looks pretty cool! Its p*ssing down so I havent gone to No Rice - No fun standing in the rain
  16. That a tune? I think i remember that! You been playing with photoshop Adam?
  17. They only fogged up a bit after being washed cos of the hot water - they didnt just fog up like most of them do, depends on where abouts the cars parked too - mines always parked in the drive & wont get affected by as much moisture etc compared to a car thats parked on a road and what not Dommy - No there Bonrath air intakes and the silver part that you can see is my cold air intake for the air filter.
  18. That was well funny! What a bandit! Nice SHOCKER pic though Simon! ha ha !lol
  19. Im glad I lost my fogs & indicators - usedto really annoy me they fogged up!
  20. I know that theres some kind of transparent thick vinyl that can be applied to the fronts of cars - a mate of mine has that on his Porsche & another on a Ferrari so there must be a company out there thats selling kits or rolls of it - their cars already had it applied. It protects across the bonnet mainly but is also on the bumper of the Porsche
  21. Ditto - Im going but if its raining then I dont reckon I will be
  22. I've got 2MB Broadband Im just good at the game - came round at work a few months ago, got similar times then
