    I recognise your car from ED38 8) Looks nice n moody 8) I like the matt black porsche rims & the DTM mirrors will work well too I reckon but like you say - lower it!

    I was told that Bosch have stopped doing the Super 4's for the VR6 now for local motor factors so I bought the new model that they have out but cant remember the name of it - doesnt have 4 electrodes, just 2.

    Ive taken my cat off - noticeable difference, I deal with the MOT as & when but it passed last year - I would never pay as much for a cat replacement pipe as I did for an exhaust system!

    Group buy sounds good - im sure there'll be a few takers for this, how many do you need? I need a new intake hose thing so replacing it with 1 of these would be ideal

    Ummmm Gwenyth! I forgot to go and see that Red Eye film it looked pretty good. Theres a place round the corner in Soho that makes these up and they cost loads!

    Sounds like its just condenation - you would get that on most cars if you do short journeys or as you say - the cars just been started once a week etc. Check the coolant to see if theres any oil been mixed in there and check the dipstick - if its got the same milky look to it then you've possibly got a head gasket problem. Might aswell get it serviced aswell or at least an oil change if its not been done in 15k miles. Mine gets changed every 6 months no matter how many miles the cars done.

    The carbon keeps the heat out and keeps the intake temp lower but depends what your trying to achieve

    My 1st car was a Metro Mayfair which I rolled through someones garden & hit a lampost, tank of fuel split open & I thought I was gonna die as I was then knocked out by the car landing upside down on a wall with the roof hitting my head - was hanging in it upside down for ages! I was going round a right hand corner & the left rear suspension gave way - only doing 30 Mph! Next I had a 1.4 Orion - had to drive that into a wall as a girl pulled out in front of me - it was T bone her or stick it in the wall. Not too much damage though.     I wanted to come but I havent got my car back yet - picking it up next Sat so I'll try and come to the next one - might be warmer then too!

    Cant you measure the diameter of the short piece that you've got?

    My Votex lightly scrapes on some bumps and ramps etc but it all depends on how big the speed bumps are cos they differ, some I dont touch at all. If you bought coil overs you could raise it and lower as much as you like til you get to a height your happy with. A 35mm drop isnt the biggest drop in the world so as long as your careful you'll be fine. I have more than a 35mm drop on the front.

    Looks pretty straight - Not a fan of the beige interior myself but if thats what your looking for then no harm in looking.

    A compression test doesnt cost much - I'd do that before changing any parts as it'll be cheaper to do that 1st than to waste your money on parts that arent needed.
