    Just been under the car as I couldnt get my wheels off cos some nob has rounded my locking nut key - seems that its not the water pump thats leaking, looks to be dripping out of the middle somewhere as 1 of the air con pipes is wet from something dripping on to it from above and above it is a small wet patch but I couldnt really make out where its leaking from

    Yo - had a new water pump fitted about a month ago but its started to leak again... Instead of driving all the way back to the place that fitted it I was gonna have a go myself cos Im planning on having my brakes re-dressed at Hi-Spec at the weekend as they are starting to warp and the following Friday Im driving to the ring so what Im asking is if I could get the car on some ramps is it an easy job to change the water pump?     I use bear share, fastest app I've used - tried Limewire but a lot of the files werent what they said they were etc & I didnt get as many results as I do with Bear Share Good program just a shame about the gay name ha ha

    Im all for having an ID card that has my details on with a pic of my face so that authorities can verify who I am and thats a good idea but would be against my details being collected about my every move for this to be viewed by whoever wants to see it, i dont see the point unless I had a criminal record etc then I would see the relevance. I've got nothing to hide at all but its all just too 'Big Brother' for me having people know how much I spend, what I buy etc, what I do & where I go etc. Our freedoms being taken away bit by bit ~ I will leave it aslong as possible before I would hav

    I think the burn out is personal preference to be honest but as you wont be running slicks it wont make a difference on your time unless your tyres are wet or something before your run and you want to try and dry them out. Aswad if i come on Sunday theres no way Im racing you & getting my arse whooped by a car with the RESISTOR OF POWER! haha

    Agree with most of Jays points & also if there was a plastic cover over that huuuuuuuge turbo - wouldnt it melt just like that with the heat? People seem to know the bloke so maybe it really is just a cool VR6 which really does have a massive turbo!

    ha ha no worries Jez! I liked the roar my old filter made and aslong as I wasnt sitting in traffic it didnt really feel any different to me so i took it off. Didnt notice any probs with it sucking up water but i did worry about that because having a hole in the front bumper sucking in air your bound to also be sucking in rain etc if your going along a motorway and what not, not sure if any would actually get to the TB or MAF though.

    My Polo handles went straight on no probs - I think you only have to fiddle with the rods on cars N Reg & before. Not had 1 problem with opening my doors since fitting :0)

    When I clean my car I always hose it down first to loosen up any dust/grit otherwise when you out a sponge to it your just rubbing around loose dirt
